Arsvita CD Laser Lens Cleaner Disc Cleaning Set for CD/VCD/DVD Player

They didn't solve my issue, but this is a good product. There are various melodic musical tracks to listen to while the CD does its job (with different genres each track), and the brushes are glued on neatly. Other reviews are correct in that the brushes are pushed down in the flimsy CD case, but that doesn't impact their ability to clean (they'd be pushed down in the CD player anyhow). My problem: My car's CD player stopped working correctly, constantly displaying the words "check disc" on multiple discs that were clean without scratches. And when I could get it to work, the car would repeatedly fast forward tracks in the middle of songs by 10 seconds, one after another. Since I bought the car used, I have no idea what the problem is without taking the whole audio system out/apart. But now I know I'll /have to do that, since this CD cleaner disc does not work at all - which I tried three times separately. Don't buy this CD with the intention of all of your problems being solved. Honestly, if you have a portable CD/DVD player that opens up entirely (as in the lid pops open), then you don't need to buy this at all. But - it may work for you, if you know the lens isn't broken.

We recently bought a 2013 Chevrolet Suburban for a 3rd run-around vehicle. The CD/DVD system was basically dead and had a hard time reading/recognizing any discs that were input...it played one CD very briefly & quit. I had little hope of this thing ever working. I did a Google search for possible fixes and the Arsvita CD Laser Lens Cleaner Disc popped up as a possible solution. Checked it out on Amazon and read the reviews and for the price, it was worth a try as I essentially had nothing to lose. Inserted the Arsvita disc and the player unit didn't initially like it...it tried to play the cleaner disc but would skip horribly....so, I ejected the disc, gently blew on the bristles to hopefully get rid of dust/dirt particles & retried and it started played/cleaning. As it moved through the additional tracks (6 total) it would sometimes experience a bit of the same issues in skipping. Each time, I ejected the disc, blew on the bristles and resumed it from the track that had issues. Finally, after all 6 tracks were successfully played, I tried a handful of random CDs & DVD and everything works just fine and dandy! I am impressed! I now need to run this cleaning disc through the CD player radios in our classic/collector cars as I know they have never been cleaned. As the cleaning disc does its thing, it plays different songs throughout the 6 tracks and runs about 20 minutes or so (add time if you need to restart like I did). Again, I am impressed with the results of the Arsvita CD Laser Lens Cleaner Disc. This is one recommendation that you can count on.

CD player wouldn’t work just kept reading or saying can’t play. I ran the cleaning disk Cd player now works like a charm!

After reading the reviews of this product, both good and bad, I decided to go ahead and give it a try. I'm glad I did. One cycle through my vintage late '80s cd player and it stopped the skipping and jumping. My lens may not have been as dirty as some others, but this cleaning disc made a great deal of difference. I will be getting a couple more to keep with my vinyl cleaning gear as replacements as they wear out.

I purchased the Arsvita Disk Cleaner because my 2007 Hyundai six disc. cd player was making a continuing wisking/flapping noise on each cd. I tried other cd's and I still had the same problem. So I thought I would purchase a disk player cleaner. I looked at several and decided on the Arsvita Company cleaner. Excellent pricing and received it in just a couple days. I put the cleaner in today and it takes on a 6 disc player about 30 minutes. So I just put it in and left the player/cleaner do its thing and shut the car door. When I went to check on it the disk was just finishing the 6th cd holder. I put the same cds back in that were in when this all started and the sound is totally all gone after the cleaner. I would give this cleaner a 100 stars because if this did not work the next thing to do was to have the built-in player worked on and that way above my budget. So extremely happy Arvsita was there. They stand behind their product 100% plus a small business that puts out an excellent product. There is no improvement as far as I am concerned. Thank you Arsvita for saving me!!

Effectiveness may vary among these products due to design. Most products come with a cleaning disc and instructions. There are products to clean the disc themselves.

I had high hopes for this CD Laser Lens Cleaner Disc Cleaning Set because I have a few older CD/DVD players that needed some help. The product arrived in good condition and was easy enough to use, but unfortunately, it didn't make much of a difference. I followed the instructions carefully, but my players still had the same skipping and reading issues afterward. The cleaning process felt simple, but the results were disappointing. It seems like this might help with very minor dust buildup, but it didn't solve the problems I was experiencing. The idea behind the product is great, especially for anyone trying to keep older electronics working, but the performance just wasn't there for me. I ended up needing a different solution to get my devices running properly again. For the price, I expected a more noticeable improvement. Two stars because it was easy to use and arrived as expected, but unfortunately, it didn't deliver the cleaning power I was hoping for. My CD player apparently decided it was ready for retirement before this disc could save the day.

No solo no sirvió para su función, además, daño el láser del reproductor de CD y ahora no lee ningún CD, la peor compra ya que no puedo reclamar lo que me costará reparar mi reproductor o comprar uno nuevo.

I have an older dvd that's sound was distorted when I played it. I put this laser lense cleaner in and ran it as instructed. When it finished there was white powder like substance in the dvd player. I used the cloth that came with the cleaner to wipe it out. When I put the disk back in to play, the sound distortion was gone and it played beautifully! So glad I got this!! Highly recommend!!
