New Chapter Supercritical Organic Ginger Supplement Force + Non-GMO Ingredients, 30 Count

Since Proctor & Gamble bought this industry-leading company in 2012, literally none of their products have even a fraction of their previous effectiveness. Only the label is the same. It is now 2019 and typical corporate cost-cutting has removed the last granule of quality these products once had. This, along with New Chapter's Zyflamend, used to be the highest quality anti-inflammatory products on the market. Did wonders for any type of tissue inflamation, like no pharmaceutical ever could. Now, no positive effect whatsoever. A shame.

I started taking this specifically to ease my back pain. I have lumbar stenosis, scoliosis, and osteoarthritis. I wanted an alternative to Ibuprofen, due to concerns about the possible effects of Ibuprofen on the kidneys. I wasn't really expecting much, but I hoped it would at least take the edge off my pain. Boy was I surprised! I can't believe the difference in my back. I can stay on my feet much longer before needing to sit down, and I don't notice as much pain radiating down to my foot. The overall pain in my back has lessened by about 75%. It works much better than Ibuprofen ever has. The one drawback is that it causes mild heartburn, and I keep burping up the ginger, even though I take it with food. If it weren't for that I would have given it 5 stars. I was kind of hoping I wouldn't have to take my heartburn medicine anymore, since so many people find ginger to help their heartburn. But unfortunately it has the opposite effect for me. But that isn't stopping me from continuing to take the ginger, since I experience so much relief for my back.

This product is a miracle for me. I have multiple herniated discs and was suffering with pain that made walking difficult. Shooting pain down my leg to my ankle and in my back. After corticosteroid injections and pain meds including opioids failed, I did some research online. I learned that ginger obtained by supercritical extract is an effective anti-inflammatory. I read that it is as effective as ibuprofen, without the damage to the stomach. I bought this product and it relieved my pain in less than 2 weeks. The pain has been completely gone for 3 months. My work requires physical agility and I'm able to work pain free.

Now contains maltodextrin - something I'd want to avoid, Ingredient list no longer match photos in description.Also hypromellose. Not happy with these objectionable ingredients.

I had acid reflux for years and suffered so long, nothing worked.., I tried everything, Zantag, Prilosec, Nexium - I hated taking Nexium- so I stopped taking anything and just dealt with it the best way I could until I read about Ginger and Turmeric. I was already taking New Chapter vitamins so I tried these 2 combined and it's the best thing I ever did!!! I take Ginger and Turmeric, one each a day, every day, and I've bee able to control my acid reflux completely. I know this sounds like those magic cures you find on the internet but it really worked for me.But - I also control my diet, watch what I eat at night. Now, I noticed that even when I eat something heavy at night, I don't get sick anymore and I think_ it's because I take ginger and turmeric. I have no other explanation... I was getting so sick before, staying up all night, drinking gallons of water... I don't even remember those nights now!

I'm very picky about supplements & research them carefully. New Chapter is an excellent brand. I like this supplement's "liquefied" consistency – increasing absorption speed and potential effectiveness. I have tried several supplements/OTC options for nausea and the distinct discomfort it creates in your stomach. So far, this is my favorite.* Quick tip for nausea: an easy home remedy is to prepare some rice in an excessive amount of H2O, drain the H2O & drink when it has cooled down.* Individuals with bleeding disorders & on blood thinners (and certain other people) should NOT take ginger… always research anything you ingest or apply to your skin (your largest organ).* External sources have rated the reviews for this product as legitimate (as of date of this review).* Requisite disclaimer: I am not a medical doctor/professional, just somebody who uses a variety of supplements to improve quality of life. :-)

• First of all, I added pictures because I didn't see any yet! Upon first impression, the bottle smells strongly of ginger when I open it, which I'm guessing is a good thing.• I am rating this product 4 stars for now (because of the positive research I've done on this brand and their product), however in about 2-4 weeks I will be able to adjust the rating depending on how it works for me :-) New chapter, from what I know so far, is a trustworthy brand. If I recall correctly, they believe in keeping the whole spectrum in their whole food supplements. I believe this helps the body recognize and take use of it's nutritional benefits.• I purchased this product to help with stomach acid/heart burn, and digestion. Fingers crossed that it works well 🤞

I recently found out that I have a very high level of inflammation in my body. It was suggested to me that I take critically extracted ginger. I have been taking it for a month and I feel it is helping my arthritic back pain. I have stenosis. I have to take another blood test to see if it has helped my inflammation but I feel it is making a difference.
