Quick drying, lightweight, and very handy.
These shorts are lightweight, dry very quickly, and fit very comfortable. They have an inner lining (like a pair of underwear) which can also be useful. There is a back zipper on the band to store any keys or money you would like to carry on with you. The pant has a nice patter in it as well. They are a bit on the shorter side, though not quite as short as some shorts people wear. The band around the waist is firm, but it doesn't cause any pressure pains. They don't shift up or down, even with long term usage. The elastic in band doesn't seem to be giving out, even with 6 months of heavy usage. I did notice that the material is starting to ball up (peel) where I had a hip bag resting. This was after a month of wearing every third day. Most people won't be wearing a hip bag that will rub against the shorts for 8 hours of walking, but important to note. For reference, I bought the small and I am 5'5 108 lbs. The size fit me perfectly.

Odd Fit
I wanted to like these, but ultimately decided to return. The waist, as others noted, is somewhat loose, but for me, the rest of the short was almost too tight. I really liked the wide waistband and can see how it would create a smooth look if it fit, but it was strangely loose and seemed like it would fall down while running. It also could have been a bit higher rise for my tastes, but I am tall so sometimes rise is a problem for me. The back zipper key pocket was awesome! The inside liner fit fine, but the nylon short material was almost too tight around my butt/lower hip area. It puckered and didn't quite lay flat, and it's not stretchy material but more of a very thin windbreaker type fabric, so it bunched and just looked odd. I think they would be excellent for someone with more of an apple shape, maybe? Someone without larger thighs and hips. I am more of a pear with athletic thighs and butt, so it just didn't work out for me.

Cute fit
Loved the wide waist band which prevents muffin top. Ran a half marathon trail run in them on a hot day. After dumping water on my head the shorts got wet and started to slip down a little. They do run a bit big. Other than that, I loved them. I like having the extra pocket in back to store electrolyte products and there is also a small front pocket. I am 5-8 and 128 pounds and can usually wear a small or medium depending on the cut. I purchased these in a small since I read they ran large. I think they would have been fine under normal conditions. I will probably purchase another pair.

like most people that it was
I cannot say how this fits because I read, like most people that it was? "med grey short" and thought it was a medium, but it was an XL. so be careful that you read every line. I've ordered these shorts in the past in all colors and I have to say I love them. If you saw my hiking attire drawer you would know. I love the complete comfort and fit. I do wish however they come in more colors and sizes because I would order every color. Best shorts for long hikes and for sure marathon runs.

Comfy, but not great for running
Well, I like these for just working out at the gym or hanging out. They are a little big but I didn't want to return them for fear the next size down would be too snug. I like things a little big rather than a little small. But they aren't great for running. They are comfortable otherwise, but when I ran in them the legs bunched up. Usually that happens when shorts are two small, but these are pretty big on me so I think it's more of a design flaw. Or it's just me. I don't know, but I'll keep them for non-running days.

Takes too long to dry
These fit well, the waistband is superb, but the material takes too long to dry. I tested them on a 5 miler in the heat and they became soaked and then stuck to my thighs, not good. I have other shorts that never feel that way no matter how sweaty I am. The liner is better than a lot of other running shorts that I have. So I will wear them to lounge around because they are very comfortable but they will not work for my running...disappointing! TTS, I am 5'4" and measure waist 26/hips 36 and small is perfect.

Great for CrossFit, running, and weightlifting
The first time I wore them, they became my favorite shorts!Sizing: I normally wear a large in Champion bottoms, but these run a little big. The medium is perfect.FAVORITE FEATURES:- Long enough to be modest, but short enough to be stylish- Fabric is light, airy, and quick-drying- Built-in panties prevent you from showing your "business" if you're lying down (ie: sit-ups)- Pull-loop to adjust waistband- Small zipper pouch on the back of waistband- Small, invisible zipperless pouch on front of waistband- Perforations in side fabric for max air flow

Shorts bunch in weird spots...
These were okay. I would have returned them but I accidentally missed the window for it. Maybe they'll fit better if I lose a bit of weight? I don't know. The inside underwear is a little odd to me. Not something I'm used to. The shorts bunch. Maybe my butt is too big? If they fit better I'd like them more. I have other champion items in a large and they fit fine, so I'm not sure why these didn't. Different material I guess.
