Club Champ Golf Bag Travel Cover(Black)

I needed a golf travel bag to transport my golf clubs on one flight. So I was looking for something inexpensive, that would add some protection and maybe even leave some extra room for a few additional items. I was pleasantly surprised by the size of this bag. My golf clubs and bag fit easily into it. There is a little strap that holds them in place. Do not expect anything fancy or a lot of padding. However, this bag is big, so I put some jackets into it to add some protection to the golf clubs. There is a side pocket that is ideal for (golf) shoes. American Airlines accepted the bag without any problems and my golf clubs survived the flight without any damage to them. Just make sure you add some extra padding and you should be fine when bringing you golf clubs on a flight. If you do travel regularly, you might want to look for a more solid case, but for occasional travel with golf clubs, this is ideal. It could also be used for other sports equipment if necessary.

The bag was sturdier than I expected. It had some cushion at the top to protect the clubs, but I wrapped the clubs in a towel to add protection. It did the trick for the intended purpose. After one use there was a slight tear in the fabric, but the bag held up for the flight there and back. I will only use this bag several times a year, so for the price it was definitely worth it.

I did one domestic round-trip with Delta airlines sofar with no transfers and the bag hold well. It is far far from perfect. It turns around sometimes during pulling over the curb and that handle in the middle is just on the wrong side. I had wrap around the clubs two Golf towels and a beld to secure them and use three snap belts / luggage straps. You need those belts, trust me. I got the Molle Backpack Accessory from here - Amazon. Look it up. The bag show wear and tear after the one round trip, but if it lasts two more trips, than it was worth. Note for travelers: most airlines accept one golf bag as checking luggage, no extra fees and I didn't had to fill out a "release" form due to being a soft shell bag.

Needed a bag last minute for a golf trip and chose this one after some research. Great bag that’s lightweight, fits my large bag, and help during travel. 4 stars rather than 5 bc the zippers are a little flimsy but that bag overall is durable. If your bag isn’t huge like mine the zipper probably won’t be an issue.

Own hard and soft case golf travel bags but wanted something lighter for my trip a recent trip to several SE Asian golfing destinations from Honolulu. SE Asian carriers have very tight weight restrictions. So I found this bag which was on special at under $20 (regular $35). The bag held up well and served its purpose. Did not experience the issues noted by other buyers. Would recommend it, if you're looking for a lighter and cheaper travel bag.

I purchased this last week to use for a trip from New York to Georgia. I read the reviews prior so I knew it wasn’t the best but I didn’t want to spend a lot. First, the wheels are not big enough. Second it likes to flip around while you drag it. I am sitting on the train while I write this so it hasn’t went though the airport bag check yet. I would say this is probably a better bag for garage storage and not travel. UPDATE: I just wanted to finish my review. Like I said above I used this bag to go from NY to Savannah, Georgia. I took this bag through the train station on the train, into the baggage rack above my head, off the train, through Grand Central Station, onto the streets of NYC, to my airport shuttle. Then went through JFK to the baggage check area. This bag flipped over while dragging it the entire time. I had to be very mindful to be careful when dragging it along with my other suitcase. Once I landed I retrieved my bag. I noticed there was some damage in the material the bag is made of. Especially near the wheels. But, it survived. I left the bag and clubs at my relatives home and returned home. In February I took the bag and clubs home to NY and the bag still flipped over every which way and was hard to manuever. But, I got the hang of it. I think if it had more sturdy wheels it would be a little more reliable. The bag will still last me a few more trips and I am thicking about reinforcing the wheel area fabric with duct tape to make sure it doesnt giveout. I think after my next trip I will buy a different bag. If you want something cheap this will work for sure but just know it is not at all perfect. I do think it is a great bag for storing them in when they are in the garage or trunk of the car so the clubs aren't getting spiders or other things in them.

This bag works well for the price. I've flown with it several times and now it's starting to show some wear from being tossed around the plane and handled by flight staff but you'll get a dozen or so flights out of it or more I would assume. More than happy with the bag for the price.

I knew this was on the cheaper end when I bought it, but don't travel with my clubs much so felt like this was a pretty good deal and should get me 3-5 trips before something happened. Well, the bag ripped on the first use and then on the return trip home, the zipper on the shoe compartment on the outside ripped open exposing my shoes and a hat. its a very good thing nothing was lost (can't confirm anything didn't fall out). I'm not sure if this purchase was even worth it for a one-timer trip as I could have lost stuff in its' only use. I don't think I misused it. I put a Ping carry bag in it with normal amount of clubs and an umbrella. The bag weighed 34 lbs at the airport. The bag also struggled to stay on the wheels as the way you pull the bag can easily shift the weight distribution, but that could have been me and not holding that against this product. Overall, I do not recommend and will try to get a refund.

Will only be actually using it in a couple of weeks from now but it looks exactly like the colour picture the chap is pulling (not the black and white one you initially see). Nice. Placed my bag into it. Good fit. Like the fact that it has wheels and a hard bottom. Some, but little padding on top portion. I placed 3 wooden stiffeners (about 1 inch taller than my tallest club) in the bag to absorb impacts. Zippers are my main concern. They look sturdy. Will see soon. Overall can't go wrong at that price.
