Laminated 18x24 Child Feelings Poster

Great poster, large. Kiddo has autism and this is super helpful. I’d 10/10 recommend anyone to get this because I was iffy on purchasing it but it was worth it. I didn’t hang it up yet though it seems to have found a home on various places in the living room flattened out lol

I often use this feelings chart since I am an elementary school Guidance counselor.My younger students often lack the vocabulary to identity their emotions.So by utilizing this chart my students can look at the pictures...if they cannot read.This chart expands their vocabulary while exposing students to a wide array of emotions. It empowers them!!

I received a different poster than the one pictured (it has cartoon faces instead of pictures of real kids) but the emotions are accurately expressed and my kids (3, 5, and 7 years old) have liked looking at the pictures and asking about the emotions. I hung it up in the hallway by their bedrooms and plan to use it when they are having trouble expressing what they are feeling.

Very nice but wish there was more diversity in the photos.

A feelings chart, after a calming down session, helps a child to recognize and name his emotions, which is helpful to get them and the child's inappropriate reaction to them to dissipate while exploring with an adult how to deal with them appropriately. This chart has more choices than most, and the pictures are realistic and not distracting to a child who is looking for a serious answer to what is happening inside. I feel cartoon pictures would be disturbing to the process.

Great poster. Students love it. Constantly using poster to identify feelings.
