Can I use this on a metal dog tag?

You could, but they are extremely thin and really need to be lacquered. That might wear off a dog tag quite quite quickly.

would this work on an led printer (similar technology to a laser printer)?

Dear customer, Thanks for shopping with us. For this product, we recommend that you use a laser printer to complete the transfer. If you understand the principles of led printers and laser printers, you can test the effect on a small scale, because we have not tested our products with led printers, so it may not be possible. give you the exact answer. Hope it can help you. Best regards TransOurDream
