Hi Dear yes its only for Glass shelf

Q: Will these work on 1/8" thick glass?

This will not likely work well on 1/8" thick glass as the label holders would be too loose. These label holders are made to fit glass shelving that measure from 3/16" (.19") to 1/4" (.25") thick. 1/8" (.125") glass is too thin and the label holder would slide around essentially defeating the purpose of a label holder. When these are placed on the glass of the appropriate thickness, they remain in place and do not slide around.

Q: Where can I purchase label inserts?

i used avery labels on them. 3" labels work nicely
