I purchased this item a few days ago, and today, when I took my vehicle for service, the mechanic informed me that the item is not suitable. It appears to be too large for my FH Cruiser 2014. Unfortunately, since my return window has closed, I had to modify the item by cutting it to make it fit into the space. However, even after these adjustments, it still does not properly fit into the inserter due to the higher thickness of the filter.

Do not buy this for Honda Civic 2017, too big and wont fit.

Ended up in the trash as I opened it and assumed it will fit as per description, then I found it to be much bigger than the Toyota FJ Cruiser filter

Seems OK but does restrict the A/C output compared with the previous charcoal cabin filter. Need to drive the a/c harder with the fan up and the temp down to get the same cooling. Not necessarily a bad thing as it means it's filtering the incoming air but something to consider if you have a weaker A/C.

One thing to note is that you might notice a very slight decrease in max fan velocity due to the increased density of the HEPA material, but the tradeoff for cleaner air is well worth it in my opinion. If you live in an area with high pollution or suffer from seasonal allergies, this is a legitimate quality-of-life improvement for your daily commute.
