The Lost World Paperback – March 27, 2014

Good read for an 11 year old.

Several versions of this book that recently became available in the Kindle Store are not based on the original print version of the book. They appear to have been translated into English from a foreign language version of the book, and much of the wording makes no sense until you figure out what word or words should have been used instead. Do yourself a favor and use the Look Inside option to read the first few pages and make sure the language makes sense; otherwise, you will be in for a frustrating experience.

An interesting read and I’m done ways it predicted things that would come years later

I enjoyed this book. I wanted to see what Doyle could do outside of Sherlock Holmes. I was not disappointed at all.

Great book. Not only the story itself, the editor’s comment is really brilliant. I would like to get other series as well.

Excellent reader.

Very much a book of the times. Very Burroughs like and full of great fun. Many modern readers won’t appreciate it but I enjoyed it.

A very good Classic read,I read this while at School in 1966 and it's still as good,Do not expect it to be like the Drama of Films,All the same it's a gripping story,Would certainly recommend.

excellent read one of his early books Conan Doyle has an interesting life story well worth reading more than Sherlock homes the books he wished he had not started on .

A reasonable read but not to my taste, the characters are just a bit too over the top and laboured
