Been using these for years on our 2nd gen Odyssey. It's got 324,000 miles on it now and still uses no oil in between 6,000-mile changes. I have lost count of the hundreds of vehicles and other pieces of equipment that I have changed oil and filters on over the past six decades. Most of these have been done using FRAM filters. Why do I use FRAM? It has to do with availability, affordability, and reliability. I have always been able to find FRAM, and they are always reasonably priced compared to the other brands. Most importantly, I have never had a FRAM filter fail. They fit, they seal, and they do their job filtering the oil. Do I ever ask them to go above and beyond? No, I don't. That is because I take care of my engines and change the oil and filter when I should. Do I spend a bit more than I need to? Probably, but I make up for it by doing the service myself and not having to overhaul or replace a very pricey engine. But even if you are one of the less handy folks who are forced to take your vehicle into a service center or, worse yet, a stealership, regular oil changes are cheaper than the alternative.
