Very impressed, great value, easy to set up and use.
I have had the printer a few weeks now, as I wanted to put it through its paces, and I have to say it has been probably the simplest printer/scanner to set up and use that I've ever owned. I've only got android devices so initially not sure what to expect, but I followed the instructions on the box scanned the QR code and a couple of YouTube clips in, the printer was up and running. I've tested it out on a variety of paper and card and being a top loader means I've been able to use vellums and other specialist mediums. All have given good results, ink delivery on paper is good no smudged or missed spots.Scanning documents and photos is fast and accurate, and pretty quiet. So for the price of £49 this printer is hands down overall a great workhorse for the money.

10 stars, 20 - does what it says on the tin!
Bought this May 2022. Printed what I needed. It is now Jan 2023. I assumed the cartridges would've dried up, but they hadn't, produced a perfect print of a photograph indeed, so 10 stars for that, for a start. Colour rendition is good too. That photo featured a pale pink water bottle that came out as is.You will gather I don't do much printing. Organizations i have occasional dealings with assume us older persons aren't tech savvy, use paper. and require letters written in return. Not actually true in my case, using W3.1 in 1993 and backing up onto floppies in DOS. The tears and loathing inspired by my previous printer were not because I'd never fixed a recalcitrant printer. With this little dear, the apps on both phone and laptop are a doddle to install and use, a bright toddler could do it. . The printer has an on/off switch and a clear and readily understood control panel.. This sometimes actually uses words, human language, and is highly legible. Compare and contrast with the nightmare which had almost invisible pale grey symbols on a cream background and an app that sent you round in circles. The previous printer also bleated the wifi wasn't connected when the wifi was mifi approximately six inches away with a positively blaring signal. This Canon machine picked up my phone and my mifi without turning a hair.I just wanted a simple printer that would print when I wanted it to, without arguing, without reducing me to tears, and this Canon is superb for that. Fast it isn't. Having been around printers for 30 years, I rate the print quality of photographs as amazing for a machine that cost a touch over fifty quid: £53.11.So long as occasional printing is your need, buy it.Bought this May 2022. Printed what I needed. It is now Jan 2023. I assumed the cartridges would've dried up, but they hadn't, produced a perfect print of a photograph indeed, so 10 stars for that, for a start.

A good budget all-rounder
As a family we don't use a printer very much nowadays with just an occasional copy of some document or other or confirmation/info email etc. being about as much as we need. This does such things admrably and as a bonus you can find 3rd party inks at a reasonable price too, if that is important to you.Yes there are a few drawbacks compared to pricier printers such as it taking a little while longer to process & print out or the inability to print burderless A4 photographs, but for my needs this little machine has so far performed admirably every task asked of it.Setup was easy enough and wireless printing from phones seems to work pretty well too.Let's face it: buying a multifunction printer at a price that often the ink cartridges alone would cost, if it lasts a couple of years I'm going to be very happy.

Great Value for Money
I bought this Canon printer two months ago, and so far, I'm very satisfied with its performance. The image quality is impressive for the price, It prints, scans, and makes photocopies, which was exactly what I was looking for – a true 3-in-1.Wireless connection is very easy with Android phones, iPhones, and Windows systems, though I haven't tried it with a Mac yet. I can't comment on the ink's longevity just yet, but with moderate use, it’s still going strong. Overall, if you're looking for an affordable printer with good print quality, this is an excellent choice. I'll update this review after a year.

issues with printer drivers
Looks great and is easy to set up. THat is until you try load the drivers onto a PC using an USB lead. Then the fun starts. Before you know it canon's automatic helper chimes in and after some time and I foolishly gave them my phone number the roof fell in. I had according to the human person THey down loaded ultra viewer and then I was told my computer had a virus that was messing everything. They gave me the virus and then try to sell me a new antivirus system for 100 plus £. I bailed out and then had to remove all their stuff from my PC so thanks Canon. I will never buy a canon anything again. Beware this stuff came from the official canon site.

Excellent Budget Printer
If you are adding this printer to a computer or laptop, it will be easy to set up. However, I wanted it to print from my ipad, and this was not quick and easy to set up. It consistently couldn’t find the printer for a good hour and was extremely frustrating. Then it suddenly seemed to burst into action and finally found the printer, and set up was then very quick. It printed what I wanted very quickly, and the print quality is good. I have had canon printers before, and have always found them to be good, reliable printers. I haven’t had a wifi printer before so no idea if they are all such a faff to set up to the wifi, but in spite of this, I am very happy with this printer.
