President New Virginia - Magnetic Mount CB Radio Antenna with Adjustable Angled Whip, Easy to Install

Just received my President Virginia, installed it to my Subaru with a Cobra 25ltd NW. I checked my swr 1:1, 1:1.2 across the band. Got a radio check roughly 5miles away from me saying I was giving them 9lbs on their receive. Keep in mind that you compromise distance with this 1/4 wave antenna. You're not going to be Dx'ing across the country bearfoot unless you have a foot warmer 100watts max. Even then you may or may not get out, all depends on mother nature. This antenna is good for road trips, line of sight communication with other drivers on the road. Astecticly it looks good and it's not screaming cb in your car or truck. I have a nice placement of my radio due to lack of space in the console of my car. Overall it's a very good antenna for my application.

Smaller than expected but worked very on our recent 15 hour drive with two cars. Coax is very small diameter but plenty long &.very low SWR of about 1.3.Does not fold very far forward as I hoped but looks & works great.

Overall is working as advertised, am satisfied.I did order the adjustable version, but the merchant sent me the fixed antenna.Turns out I like this one better, is abit of a hassle with the garage parking, but it works.

I looked all over for my 'President Andy || CB' an antenna that would work best as a setup. Most Antennas left me unhappy because they were weak and they flew off my car's roof at 30mph. Most important thing is this one can easily withstand 80mph on the highway and I'm confident it can do over 100 mph no stress. Magnet is STRONG. The wire is thinner and length is perfect and tilt can be angled so you can get into your garage. Must tune the President Andy CB and antenna with the 'Workman SWR Meter for CB Radio Antennas SWR2T' If you have an SUV and want to put the antenna all the way back near shark-fin you will need to get the extension wire 'MOOKEERF PL-259 UHF CB Coax Cable 6FT, RG58 PL-259 UHF Male to SO239 Female Low Loss Antenna Extension Jumper Cable ' THis should help you tremendously if you want to get your setup looking sweet.

I put this on my 2021 venue and this thing is great I had a wilson 1000 and replaced it with this president Virginia CB antenna and u can believe it or not but I received and transmitted out farther than the Wilson and it comes pre tuned and the magnet is very strong all u have to do is plug it up and your talking I’ve had several people say that’s a CB antenna? But I was leery about the thin coax but it was better because now it don’t get pinched in the rear hatch. Love it love it. Go buy one this is by far the best antenna for the price and u won’t regret it

With a President radio, it was only useable to about 3/4 of a mile. That may just be the nature of such a short antenna at CB frequencies. However, the rubber grommet where the antenna tightens to the base, very quickly cracked and will soon fall off. The thin protective rubber covering the magnet base is ok, if you treat it gently and make sure it's properly positioned.

What I like...everything about it! Its stealth and it matches my FM/AM antenna. Its easy to install. It looks modern and misses my garage door by 1". Its flat SWR across CB 40 channels and usable on 10 meters using the internal antenna tuner in my G90. I just got a 5/9 from a German station while on the parkway during the 10 meter contest running 20W. On CB its great on receive and transmit. Love it. I think it requires a good ground plane IE smack in the middle of the roof. Thank you President Electronics.

It looks like original equipment, not like a CB antenna. That being said, it's shouldn't be expected to receive/transmit like a trucker's CB antenna. For casual, motorist use, it does a good job. Also, it can be easily unscrewed from its base for car washes and low-ceiling parking garages.
