Very well made and perfectly designed for tiny birds. Beautiful to watch swaying in the wind.

They're alright. A bit small. So far , no birds. However the quality of item is good, they look Natural. Most birds nest in spring where hummingbirds can have 3 or 4 in a year. It's summer.

Wow. these are so sweet. We bought lots, and gave some away. they were originally foe momma Annas and Allen's hummingbirds we have here in Encinitas, California. They found them immediately, and appreciated. Some even got definsive over protecting them. We've since started loading up with soft pet fur to augment the original cotton fiber, and this has also been well received. In subsequenct months, other bird species have been frequenting these nesting spheres, including song sparows.

I didn't really read the product description and for some delusional reason thought humming birds would actually nest inside. Duh. It was soon apparent this was not the case. And I didn't quite understand how this would survive the rain storms without turning into a mushball. Anyway - hung it up by the humming bird feeder frequented by our resident female. Lo and behold - springtime and she really, really got into snagging the cotton and building more than one nest. So - yeah - brilliant!

Non-degradable and persistent • Unlike natural fibers (cotton, wool, plant down), polyester doesn’t break down over time. • If it gets into the wild, it adds to microplastic pollution and remains in nests even after they’re abandoned. 4. Chemical residue • Many polyester fabrics or fillings are treated with fire retardants, dyes, or sizing agents, which are toxic to birds.
