I'm very impressed with this ssd because my laptop found it straight away which wasn't the case with the Crucial ssd I'd first purchased, that Crucial ssd was faulty because I tried others and they all showed up in disk management. This WD Black ssd is fast which made cloning my original to it so fast and simple, I was done in just over one and a half hours. If your looking for a new ssd to upgrade your computer then take a look at this one because for the price your getting a bargain and a free triple A game that's only just come out. Yes I upgraded an ssd with another ssd but the one I upgraded from was 250gb and I really needed the space, and I'm happy to say this new drive has sped up my laptop from a cold boot by nearly 30 seconds which was unexpected but very welcome.So I'm happy to stand by my claim that if you want a new ssd then I'd recommend this as a good choice.The only bad thing I can say is I couldn't get my free copy of Battlefield 2042 because of ridiculous redeem time scale, but I'm going to email WD to see what they say.

Got this as it was fairly cheap for an Gen 4 SSD and saw some youtubers trying out the lower capacity model which outperformed it's stats on the PS5 (this does even better)So far i have tried it with Miles Morales at performance and fidelity modes and God of War, and could tell no difference when playing from the PS5's internal SSD.Needs a heatsink though.

Excellent PCIE gen 4 drive. The speeds are great, definitely shaves off load times with some of my heavy duty games like Red Dead 2 and Call of Duty. Installs easily into the m.2 socket on the motherboard. It's quite pricey but definitely one to look out for when on sale.

I climbed my smaller Samsung SSD m 2 into this new one. After 10 days of using it I the computer crashed 3 times and today crashed and win10 is doing scan and repair job. It's been doing it for a while. I had about 180gb of data clonned into WD from Samsung SSD. To be honest I didn't have this type of issues with Samsung SSD. Will stay clear of WD in future.

So easy to install.1 Take side off computer.2 remove one small phillips screw3 remove memory card4 install in reverse order.Voilà!Speed increase is amazing. Performed new Windows 10 installation from usb flash drive in about 15 minutes total.Only negative the game is pants.
