This is easily one of my favorite kitchen accessories. I use it several times a week, particularly for making hash brown cubes from potatoes, and it performs beautifully every time. The blade slices through potatoes with ease, making meal prep quick and effortless. What really sets this apart from other kitchen tools, like traditional mandolins, is how safe it is to use. I no longer have to worry about accidentally slicing my fingers, which is a real concern with most mandolins. In fact, it’s safe enough for my 12 and 13-year-olds to use, which is a huge bonus for getting them involved in meal prep. Another great feature is how easy it is to clean. It is great vegie slicer and safer than manual shredder ones for hands. Also, the brush is great to remove vegie debris. In general, it's very good, but, it's a bit too small, and the vegies pusher, gets very stock in the slicer's bottom, hard to pull out for another batch! However, it takes me 2-3 dislodges to get my portion of vegies; It's good for one person who eats lots of vegies on 23hrs OMAD, but, perhaps the average people may eat less vegies than me, and may not need more than one batch for 2 people.

Pros: Cuts fast and easily, wide range of adjustments for thickness, easily handles fairly large potatoes and other veggies. Blades are sharp and very well protected so it is safe even for kids. Much safer than the regular shredder! Fairly easy to clean even though you can't disassemble it. Cons: You can wear yourself out pretty good (remember to switch hands regularly) after doing enough potatoes for a big batch of hashbrowns (set thickness about midway between 0 and 1 and it makes it just about right). Not ideal for cutting sticky stuff like cheese or frozen stuff so keep it to apples, cucumbers, celery, carrots, beats, and other non-mushy stuff. I did not test it with tomatoes but am sure it would work on firm tomatoes.

My son decided he’d be farmer Joe this summer and grow a garden. We have a lot of produce. Which on one hand is great since we don’t have to worry about the poo poo parasite currently in grocery store veggies, but I’m having to cook, freeze, and dehydrate veggies like ma Ingalls and this makes that so much faster. It’s also very nice for the dehydrater since all the veggies are the exact same thickness drying time is similar rather than picking off done one and putting thicker ones back on. It’s sharp, it’s stable, and stores nicely. Cleaning it is a bit of a pain, but considering how much chopping it saves me and gives me even slices, I’m not complaining.

I am not impressed with this mandoline. Thought I would be, even before purchasing it, I knew it would not slice a whole onion or potato or anything larger than the food chute. Yet, I bought it anyways. Now, after using it a half dozen times, I find that it doesn't clean up easily, it doesn't dice easily (you have to slice first then reload the chute with your sliced pieces to finish the job) and storing the contraption is somewhat bulky. It chops fine, it works as it is intended to, I suppose.... but its versatility just isn't there for me. Seriously thinking of returning it... I have a few more weeks in my window.

I can finally get the cuts I want and keep my fingers intact! Mandolines are one of the most dangerous kitchen items you can have and I learned the hard way why they are so dangerous. I like this one because it is safe, versatile and doesn't take up a ton of space.

The product seems like a good value until you get it and you realize you bought something you can't clean without destroying. Comes with no instructions and the cheap plastic parts break almost immediately upon touch.

When I opened the box, the cleaning brush 🖌️ was missing. Please arrange it.

There are no proper instructions and it doesn’t work as described. Totally disappointed
