Yes, it is a beautiful color. It colors over gray, (silver)which not all colors do. BUT NO, you cannot do this IN THE SHOWER, Come on.... If you do, yes, it will stain everything. You need to 1) have damp hair 2) use Vaseline around your face and neck 3) use gloves (I've seen reviews complaining about it staining their hands) 4) apply, put up. Then use a blow dryer or a blowdrycap to apply heat. 5) leave on 2 hours 6) rinse out in a stainless steel sink, not the shower. It will still stain your bare fingernails when you run your nails through your scalp for a week. But do all this stuff and you get a beautiful color that stays longer than all the others I've tried.

I really wish I could give this product a better review, but unfortunately I’ve used sooo much better semi permanent hair dye. Don’t get me wrong, it for sure gets the job done and the color transferred well as a brunette. However, the dye stains EVERYTHING. I’ve had my fair share of dye staining things, but this brand by far tops any other. I have washed my hair twice already and it is still staining my neck and whenever I touch my hair, my fingers turn blue. When I brush my hair, dry hair dye flakes off and has stained my sink. The photos don’t look horrible but this is over an hour of trying to clean the stains off my bathroom sink. I’m not sure if I did something wrong applying the dye for it to be like that, but it is so annoying. I have to be careful where I’m lying my head to avoid it staining anything.

This really should be done by another person... & rinse in the sink, not shower!!! The blue is amazing!!!💙💙 It has lasted & looks great!!! I am just not very experienced... So much of me & my shower turned blue too! 🤣

Would definitely not recommend. Turned my hair several different shades of blue, had to scrub my head to stop it from bleeding blue in the shower. Not good for your hair at all because it fried mine. My whole shower was blue including my hands and feet and had to use alcohol to remove it from my skin. It did its job but im definitely not using again. I had to wash my hair three times consecutively to even get it off my scalp and even then it was still bleeding red after because of the undertone of the dye. The conditioner did nothing for my hair after.
