broke a couple trying to open them or put them together i forget the exact circumstance but user error , price is right cant complain just wishful thinking i’ll be more careful lol. better than breaking 2 glass ones ,everyone’s wyling on those tickets everywhere for what they are, i’m cool. quick ship n these seemed pretty sterile , still wiped em down but they do what they’re supposed to just fine . lightweight and veryy affordable esp in bulk. thank you 5/5

Flimsy but Sterile, Price Was Right
The petri dishes feel a bit flimsy, but they are sterile and do the job. For the price, I can’t complain. They work fine for my needs, just don’t expect them to be super durable.

Too much heat is a bad thing, but these are good.
These are NOT autoclavable. Haha found out the hard way. But still sturdy, good capacity yield, was expecting a bit more durable but it's not a derailment. They'll do just fine.

Send it
Packaged arrived with zero broken. Sealed and sterile. People leaving lowestar ratings for sterility or silly and need to look at their cultures. Also these are not for jello shots so there might be a smell on the plastic these are molded plastic petri dishes. 🤣 If you're looking for some decent quality plates without having to spend a ton of money these are a great option.

Hit or miss whether you get a sterile batch
Hit or miss whether the dishes will be sterile or not. Had a whole batch of agar plates contaminate with a bacteria I haven't seen before when working with agar plates. 20 of the 30 plates were contaminated with this bacteria that contaminated the whole surface of the agar plate. Too risky to use these as you won't know if you'll get a sterile batch or not and might end up wasting a bunch of samples over the gamble. Money lost through lost samples isn't worth money saved buying these.

As description say and can be reused.
Works great. If used lightly they can be sterilized and reused.
