Good system for holding steel targets
So here’s some important info: buy a 8ft 2x4 and cut it at 16” lengths for the legs. One 2x4 will make 6 legs, so 2 sets. It will be pretty darn stable too. Also the cross bolts that hold the steel plate are m8 - 1.25, so do yourself a favor and buy some wing nuts so you don’t have to bring an extra wrench to the range. The carriage bolt that holds the plate is 19mm or 3/4”. So with this for a range day, you’ll need at least a 3/4” wrench, the included Allen wrench, and the wood for the post and legs. I would recommend screwing a few holes probably 2-3” apart in your post, so you can easily vary the height of your target. You really only need 1 cross bolt, but they include 2 to make it extra secure.

Seems more than capable
Put it together w a separate steel target from the same maker. It was easy, w 8 feet of 2x4 (4 ft for the vertical post, and 16 in for each leg of the base), a drill, hand saw, and 10 minutes. It held up today to medium and close range pistol without wobbling. I like that the shrapnel-laden legs can just be replaced down the line, instead of cheap steel legs that might get shredded beyond repair.

Great stand and customizeable!
I ended up using some leftover pressure treated 2x4 to make the frame up. This is definitely built for non-treated wood as the fit was very tight. I planed a bit of material off of the wood and it worked just fine.I use it to support a pellet trap, I cut the legs to 2' long each and the vertical at 3', very stable in wind and haven't had a problem yet.

Works but cheap
Gets the job done but very cheap metal

Good quality. Holds heavy steel
Holds a very heavy 1/2” thick piece of 18X24” AR550 steel no problem. The 2x4 will have to be replaced after 2 or three range days due to fragments hitting it. The quality seems good. The base is thick metal and seems good quality but I haven’t hit it with a direct stray round yet
