Easy to use at home with no bubbles
I mixed it according to the instructions. Left the bottles next to my radiator for a few hours to warm up first. Weighed one cup then weighed out a second cup with part b. Poured cup one into cup two then stirred slowly couple mins. Then poured all contents into other cup scrapping edges and stirred again couple mins. Poured out mix as needed . Left the mould with the epoxy to set in small toilet room next to radiator on and extraction fan on . After a few hours it was already getting hard. Left over night . After 14 hours took out of mould and left them to dry on the radiator to dry another 10 hours, as they are still curing and giving off fumes. But this expoxy does not smell as bad as others I have tried. Happy to mix inside home then leave to dry in a warm room with fan extraction, door closed. No bubbles at all. Great product. If you want to do layering then this is a perfect product to do that .

Very good resin
I bought this about 2 months ago and I still have a lot left, my pack didn’t come with instructions which I did need at first as I hadn’t used this make before. The curing agent is yellow and the part a is a purple colour but don’t let that put you off as once mixed and poured it’s clear and cures clear. I’m very happy with my purchase and will definitely buy this again when I run out.

Quite a good buy, nice resin but bit pongy
Nice resin, bit smelly ,clear finish and fewer bubbles than others hardly any if at all, dries quickly compared to others and nice and hard also polished up better than some.I would recommend but for one quibble , I bought one lot direct and this lot through Amazon and this one through Amazon locked low on the hardener and turned out it was . This shouldn’t have happened at 2-1 ratio but short on hardener rendering a waste of resin as no hardener to go with it. The other one was fine I bought. Shame or I’d have bought more.

MIX PROPERLY AND YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED - ***PLEASE READ!***
So many negative comments - but not just this resin - the same negative comments across all epoxy resins. Don't read the negative comments - here's the solution... 1. Make sure your measures (A to B) are correct. READ THE LABEL TO ASCERTAIN THE RATIO OF RESIN TO HARDENER. If you have a 2:1 mix, then it's probably the case that weight is the key measurement, but volume cannot be precluded. Make sure your measurements are exact in any case. This is the primary reason resin takes an age to cure. Adding a little more hardener (B) will not have the desired effect of hardening quicker. Keep to the correct quantities! 2. Many people complain the Part A is cloudy and/or thick (or even lumpy) in viscosity. This is due to the Part A being too cold. You can WARM it up by placing the bottle in hand-hot water. DO NOT USE BOILING WATER to warm up the Part A. It will be ready to use when the viscosity is somewhere between syrup and water. 3. Mix the two parts together for longer than the stated time/longer than you think - then pour it into another mixing container and stir for another couple of minutes. Not mixing the parts together properly result in the resin never curing. Think of mixing syrup with treacle (it takes far longer than you think!). If you see weird 'stringy' bit or 'waves' in the mixture, then you need to need to stir more. 4. Stirring faster will NOT mix the two parts quicker - it will only introduce more air. Stir the mixture deliberately, making sure you scrape the side and bottom with your mixing stick/tool. Consider stirring vertically, too, moving the resin from bottom to top of the mix. 5. To burst bubble that have risen to the surface, apply heat. I would seriously avoid using a naked flame; you've all seen the videos where craft-y Youtubers use a kitchen crème brûlée flame torch to burst the bubbles, but this is something I would dissuade. You may heat the surface of the resin too much, too quickly, causing a 'skin', but more likely, you may find that when you come to de-mould your casting that the mould edge sticks to the lip of the resin; 'flaming' your casting caused this. Instead, use a hair dryer or heat gun - just be careful of the effect of the speed of the air on your casting. 6. Air temperature when curing. If you know your ratios are correct and you have mixed them well, but the casting is taking ages to cure, then the casting is at the incorrect temperature. A minimum of 20 degrees C is required, but not more than 25. I have been using epoxy resin for years now, with many different brands, and I can state that this Vista Cascade product is a good product indeed.

Great stuff. Glossy professional finish created.
Wear 2 sets of gloves and eye goggles and a mask - this stuff is toxic. Keep windows open. Don’t let dust near when drying or it’ll just ruin your project. Beautiful glossy appearance was just the ticket on a table I painted a gold mandala on. This worked perfectly. Had a few drips over the edge when I accidentally moved the table when drying. But just sanded the edges down and painted. Love the final result! Very impressed.

Product crystallisation is off putting
The product formed a solid mass of crystalline material that needed to be warmed in a tub of hot water (multiple times) to return it to a liquid. Once the product was molten again and the correct mix ratio was used I had no problem. Set time was over 10 hours at 18 Deg C at about 6mm depth. Product is clear but easily clouds if water is present or used to wipe the surface immediately after setting. Cloudiness was removed with a hot air gun immediately applied after clouding. Bubbles are inevitable but removed with a small flame briefly applied while still in liquid state. All in all a reasonable product but with all the caveats the price point is too high. Formulation is saturated hence crystallisation - that’s just poor chemistry baring in mind end user experience. I worked in R and D epoxy development for 5 years - I know there’s diluents that can be used to prevent crystals forming in storage. If you’re happy to do additional prep product is ok, but not outstanding !

Good product
I've used the same resin for 3 year's. I couldn't get it anymore so bought high end resin for £38 I wasn't a fan. Bought vista and liked it straight away. It mixes well, clear and virtually bubble free. I will definitely buy visa again 😁

2 - 1 mixture
I have tried and tried and now I'm so angry with this resin you weigh it out to the T resin A is all stuck to the bottom and hard and it almost impossible to shake to mix then comes out lumpy, then you add the one part resin B you THINK YOU HAVE ALL THE BUBBLES 🫧 OUT and then it take 14 hour in resin curer and you have bubbles everywhere or you leave it to dry normally and it takes about 6 days and drys with a film over the dop..... HORRIFIC DO NOT BUY
