Sturdy, secure grip handle, sharp blade with wide opening, good spring release. A+ product
This was bought to replace a Fiskers one that cost 2x as much. It fits my grip, doesn't hurt my hand and fingers after hours of cutting. The blades work efficiently, smooth open-close action. Neviers was wise to add the wrist cord. When on a ladder, or inside a shrub, it helps to not drop these. I always clean the blade, and cutting track to remove debris. Great product. I recommend this item.

Im no professional
I rent so I don’t have to maintain the home so much and let me tell ya, read the fine print. Turns out all the fancy shrubbery is my responsibility. These were my first time using gardening shears but it definitely made my amateur weeding fairly quick and easy. Smooth, nice lock feature, for the job I needed anyway.

Well made pruning shears and has blade guard
Looks to be well made pruning shears. I used it the other day trim some small branches, wild weeds and plants, worked great. The blade is fairly sharp and cut through small branches with easy. It's smaller and easier to use than our HD branded shears that we replace it with, and it's better quality. Also has blade guard for safety which is a bonus.

NOT A Bypass Pruner. It is grooved on the bottom, fills with debris.
Mostly Good, but 1 noteworthy bad.Pros:* Feels good in the hand - a biggie, if you do a lot of pruning.* Locking mechanism works easily (at least for now)* Spring loaded to open back up - A HUGE Plus, if you do a lot of pruning!* Blade seems sharp, and cut my small limbs easily (at least for now)* Bottom blade is serrated, to aid in holding steady on the limb.CONS:* Bottom blade is NOT a bypass cutter - like shears (which I thought it was from the pictures). It is a single blade on top, with a bottom 'holder' that has a groove to allow the top blade to just get by the limb, as it cuts.I found after a short time pruning, the bottom groove filled with debris, and I was having a harder and harder time making the cuts all the way through, and it felt pretty spongy as I cut. It took me a bit to realize what was wrong. I'd never really looked at it before, but this does not cut like shears, or any other pruner I've ever owned. It is a grooved slot in the bottom edge, which allows the top Blade to just barely slide through the limb, but does not cut from both sides. This grooved method worked great on the first few cuts, but as I went, it filled with debris, until eventually, It no longer allowed the top blade to cut past the slot, so the limbs were still attached at the very edge, resulting in tears at the last bit.Once I realized what was wrong, I knew to clean out the groove, but it's a pretty small groove, and I didn't have a knife handy to fit in the slot. Took a bit of trial and error, to find a branch small enough to fit the groove, but sturdy enough to actually scrape out the debris, which was pretty packed in there by now. If you buy these, bring a knife with you to clear out the groove, or you'll be struggling more than you need to.I like the pruners OK, but had I known about the groove thing, I think I would have bought a different pair. I like the bypass pruners, because I don't need to bring a knife along to clear out the debris. They could fix this, by keeping the groove, and just making it open on the backside, so the debris could fall out, as you kept cutting.

Perform extremely well, very happy with purchase
Nov 02, 2021 update - I had to finally retire the first pruners purchased, as I lost the spring. The second pair continue to receive their regular weekly workout while the second pair sit on the shelf, waiting for me to, perhaps, one day come across the spring, somewhere on the property.Feb 15, 2020 update - Both pairs of pruners continue to perform well and without issue under heavy and regular use. Each and every week, even through the winter, I've filled at least three 32 gallon lawn cans. A few weeks ago, during one of our rare dry periods, I also filled eight lawn lawn bags.Dec 04, 2019 update - Both pairs of pruners continue to perform well and without issue.May 25, 2019 update - Both pairs of pruners continue to perform well and without issue despite the not-so-gentle workout they regularly receive. Amazing.Jan 13, 2019 update - Both pairs of pruners continue to perform well and without issue. Last week I filled three 32 gallon lawn cans and two brown lawn bags with cuttings from briars, shrubs, and fallen limbs. Many weeks I've filled 3 yard cans and 6 to 10 bags. For the quality and the price the pruners simply can't be beat.July 28 update - Repeat customer. The pruners I purchased in May for myself have been in almost daily use for hours at a time and continue to perform extremely well. I gifted a set to a family member shortly after and they, too, have been very happy with them. I've recently obtained additional property and now wish to have a set to keep on hand there. Excellent quality, performance, and price!Original review - Received these today and immediately put them to use cutting new growth, old growth and no growth (otherwise known as dead) tree limbs, bushes, and vines in various sizes ranging from 1/16" to 3/8". The pruners feel like they're of good build, are comfortable to hold, and performed extremely well - unlike a pair I recently purchased locally, which failed after a few cuttings - and I'm very happy with the purchase.
