This is a a very inexpensive yet effective sheath for my Kestedge 9" Chef's knife. That knife is so sharp (sharpened to a 15-degree edge which is great for precision slicing) that I had kept it in the box it came with for fear of it cutting someone's fingers. Now the knife is safe with the blade in this Mercer knife guard.
