When added to the transmission of a manual 5spd 2017 Subaru impreza it quieted down a noisy synchro that had presented noise for years, reduction noted appx 99% but ideally time will tell.Thank you redline

Care for transmission
Would recommend this to anyone with an STI doesn’t matter the year, this stuff plus some redline 75w-90 gear oil is what helps your transmission in the long run, always better to be safe than sorry.

Best gear oil for grinding transmissions
I used one bottle of this mixed with 3 bottles of redline 75W90 gear oil in my subaru 6-speed for my transmission. It works amazing, the gears shift like butter now due to the lightweight shockproof oil acting more like a liquid grease. I have seen people with a tranny that grind into gear use this gear oil and it will stop it from grinding completely. You have to change it more often if you run it straight but I mix it to give it a longer lifespan.
