This works well with my pans to stop any splatters of oil going over my cooker and I like this as no long handle for me to keep knocking , I have used with large and smaller pans ,quick to arrive and good price

Items arrived and I was expecting them to be very thin and flimsy. Not so, I can't see why some have said they are. By the nature of the items (I ordered 2) they are thin but I wouldn't say flimsy. As long as you take care with them they should be fine. I will write an update if necessary as I have only used them once.

This is the 2nd of these that I have had. The first lasted 3 years or so before the rim coming away from the mesh. As far as product life goes, this was fine for the price paid. However, this replacement seems fractionally smaller so doesn't rest on the edge of my pan quite as easily.

Wire mesh is not fine enough to prevent oil from spitting through. Several parts of the wire mesh were damaged upon delivery where 2 wires had been bent closer together creating larger gaps for oil to spit through. Better than nothing as it did stop 'some' oil from spitting through, but I will be looking for a replacement with a finer mesh.

This is great much better than I thought no splashes over my tops in the kitchen any more
