I finally used my jump starter yesterday. It did not start my car, but the car had not been operated for at least 2 months. So I blame the car, not the jump starter. I have no doubt that the unit would have started the car had it not been sitting idle for so long. It had perhaps 10 seconds available to crank the engine which is normally more than sufficient. The LEDs indicated that it still had more than half of its capacity when I recharged it, so I am assuming that an internal safety circuit shut it down before it could be damaged from the heat caused by cranking the engine longer. I think it is a good product, and I do not regret buying 3.

Wow, this product is exactly what I needed. Watch out, AAA! No more waiting around for an hour plus for a good samaritan, the local auto shop, or AAA to show up when my battery goes out. Plus, this product allows me to charge other portable devices, which is a life-saver on long road trips with kids in the back seats.

Product is very convenient. Will go with me on my boat or car. Much more convenient than traditional jumper cables. Comes in a handy compact case.

Bought this. Came charged with 3 bars. Put it on the hybrid Honda Civic, which was not starting, and let it sit for about 1 minute! Perfect! Started right up!!!
