Accu-chek Aviva Glucose Test Strips 50 (Pack of 3)

I had trouble using these with my Accu-Chek meter. I contacted Accu-Check and they looked up the lot # and product #. They told me these strips were manufactured in Spain. Some countries don't have government restrictions and guidelines like the FDA. At Accu-Chek's request I am sending the strips to them and Accu-Chek replaced my strips with ones made in the U.S.A. for no charge. I recommend that you check with Amazon before ordering strips. We are talking about your health and mine is too precious to waste my time or money on strips not made in the U.S.

These appear to be fakes. They look right but they don't have the coding chip that Roche includes in each package to tell the unit how to read the strips. Without this coding chip the strips are useless. Correction, the Aviva meter I have is an older model (silver) that does need a code key, but the newer black units nolonger use the code key. The solution is to replace the my unit with the newer version.

Good expiration dates. Control test shows dead center of the range. Even though I only monitor once daily, I'll finish all three of these boxes (150) long before the expiration date. Can't ask for more than that.

Been using this meter and strips for years have switched meters in the past but always gone back to this one the test strips are much cheaper on Amazon and they are not knock off

I ordered these and come to find out they were manufactured for Spain. The strips did not work. I am so angry. What a waste of money. Avoid at all costs.

About 20% of the strips would not respond in the meter and had to be tossed. I have used these strips from this source before without a problem but the last batch was problematic.
