Even if heat resistant can this be used on stove top?

I use it as a trim around outer edges my stove top as a frame, have not a problem. if it is too close to the burners it would burn. its not fire proof.

Can this be used as a shelf liner under a microwave?

I’m not sure - guess it would depend on what the shelf was made out of ? We used ours on the the front of a small refrigerator

Can this item be used outside?
