Sennheiser HD6XX Open Back Professional Headphones - Black

Love it! They are so comfy, and every time I share them with friends they comment on how great they feel. You can pretty easily hear the sound from the headphones if you aren’t wearing them, but that doesn’t bother me

After much back and forth, I landed on the HD 6XX for work and audiophile purposes. I am in ZERO way disappointed. I have listened to AirPod Pros, Sony WH1000XM5, Pro In ear monitors, etc.. These just blow them out of the water. So much clarity, and CLEAN bass (not wild muddy bass). I did pair them with an amp that supports up to 600ohms, so I think that really changed the game as well. They do work off of an Apple iPhone aux dongle with ease and clarity, but would recommend a cheap dedicated amp for some real fun and clarity. 10/10!

I can't believe some people say other headphones have a "flat response," I've never heard music like I have been since I got these.Unfortunately, it's ruined my experiences with other listening devices because I hear way more of the EQ in each one. That said, as a music producer, I'm confident now that any mix I do will translate well into other devices. I've been hearing detail and clarity like ever before--even in my normal day to day listening.That said, people might not like how flat these can sound (don't expect huge bass), but these are finally a pair I can say will let you listen to music "the way the artist/producer intended."

Nowhere did it state that for $260 I was purchasing something worn and used. I was expecting something in nicer condition but really just new for that price. If I had known it was going to be so worn I would not have bothered purchasing.

Sennheiser HD6XX aren't the top of the list when it comes to a traditional set of headphones, but at this price point they are a worthy purchase. Well constructed, comfortable with decent sound - that's what anyone is looking for. I've used Sennheiser products for years and I've never been disappointed.

These 6xx’s are one of the best headsets I’ve tried! And a bargain price! Amazing! Replaced the cord with an XLR4 and they’re balanced!!

I got a used one for 130 bucks, and its better than all my old headphones/noise cancelling headphones, I have different generations of bose, apple, sony noise cancelling headphones, they are killing my ears because they emit some sort of low frequency noise to cancel outside noises, I had ear ringings for a long time until I had finally cure it with exercise and wear noise cancelling headphone on one side of my head. I found I can wear this new headphone for hours without damage my ears or my head, and sounds never so clear and real! I am impressed!

What can you say about the near-universal studio reference headphone (not that studios have ONLY Sennheiser 6-series, but almost none have NO Sennheisers of this lineage lol).Unlike many longtime WAV-heads, I don't have a long history with the ancestor of this headphone, the HD650...but I am TOTALLY pleased with the build quality & design aesthetic (right down to a little Braille-type nub that only appears on the LEFT ear-post, so you can unerrinly & positively FEEL which way to put the cans on, every time, no matter semi-dark/lights-low the session/setting), & am very satisfied I'm getting basically clear, flat-EQ'd sound [& for those DEMANDING absolutely *precisely* flat sound, there are widely-posted EQ settings for almost every imaginable software-&-amp setup, to satisfy even the pickiesst white-lab-coat types ;) ]Would buy again.
