This listing should come with a warning — opening the lid was a real struggle. I actually had to contact the seller for help.Here’s the method that finally worked for me:Boil a kettle and fill a mug with hot water.Turn the bottle upside down and immerse the cap in the hot water for a few minutes.Once the plastic softens slightly, press down and twist to remove the black part of the lid.Repeat the process for the white inner cap.Congratulations, you’ve unlocked the bottle!That said, once I finally got it open, I had no further issues and the product itself is excellent. The Augeo oil is perfect for DIY reed diffusers — completely odourless and a great base for creating custom blends. The 1-litre bottle goes a long way, and my 200ml reed diffuser lasts for weeks.It also blends really well with all the essential oils I’ve tested so far. Overall, despite the frustrating packaging, the quality of the product itself is very good.

I wish I had known about this product before.I have a lot of reed diffusers in my home and if you use this solution as a base (there is no smell to it) then add your diffuser oil to it, it lasts a long time in diffuser bottle, before you need to add more oil. This reed oil travels fairly well up the reeds, and it mixes easily with the essential oil. It is scentless, so does not interfere with the scent of the essential oils.The main issue is the bottle. The cap is SUPER hard to open. It is push down and twist child proof, but I have never had such a problem opening this type of cap before. Looking at other reviews, this does not seem to be a one off faulty cap, it seems to be a problem with the bottle design. I was offered to return it, but as returns are such a hassle where I live, I decided to just cut the cap off the bottle with a hack saw, and pour the contents into a different bottle.If the bottle could be opened and used as intended, I believe this diffuser oil would be good value for money, as it is a big bottle that will last a long time.

Great quality and size. There is no aroma, and the oil contains no alcohol, which makes adding it to my carrier oil to create a reed diffuser increase the longevity and intensity of the fragrance used.
