Very nice upgrade!!!
Installation was pretty easy. I did have to switch the orange and yellow leads going to the motor to make it spin the correct direction, but this was pointed out in the manual. What they don't tell you is the extra power could harm the driveline components. I did my research, but still blew out three diffs. I should have shimmed the diffs and main drive shaft...oooops. My bad. There is a good instructional video on Youtube on doing this. After the shims were fitted, no more issues.I also bought a programming card for the speed control (Surpass Hobby Programming Card ), which I have yet to try out, as the factory settings were fine for typical use. It is nice to know I can customize some of the parameters.

Great for ARRMA Grom!
The media could not be loaded. This setup went perfectly into my ARRMA Mojave Grom. I was able to 3D print the servo mount which was all I needed to finish the setup. The motor fist perfectly into the chassis and the stock motor mount and pinion gear are able to be used as well. This adds a decent bit of that brushless speed we all love and livens up the grom well without being too overpowering. It worked out perfectly battery wise with my MJX/HyperGo 2s battery packs since they are deans. A simple adapter for the ic2 will suffice as well. Best bang for your buck if you want to convert your grom to brushless. Will definitely update about its longevity and durability over time.My only single complaint (could be my RX/TX) is that if I turn off my transmitter before I turn the car off, it instantly goes full throttle and takes off.

Fits LaTrax Teton
Fits in the LaTrax Teton and runs great. Only problem is have is it’s not 100% water tight. Ended up spraying with plasti dip to create the water seal.

Please don’t waste your money like me
The media could not be loaded. This is not worth it , you may be intrigued by the low price but save your money , shaft broke off within 2 minutes of running the car , I thought the pinion came loose until I opened it back up , ugh , save your money . Total cheap junk

Very powerful & worth every penny
Replaced the stock brushed motor & esc from my latrax rally & wow.. it kicked into overdrive! Even though it's AWD, I'm forced to roll into it, but it'll still spin all 4 tires at speed. Great for carpet racing & bashing, but keep in mind the power it puts out.Best to upgrade other parts down the line as well.

Easy bolt on, great performance
The brushless motor easily mounts to the original motor mount. simply swap your pinion gear over. Secure the ESC with zip ties or double sided mounting tape. ESC programming is decent. Reverse is programmed to be a bit slower top end than forward. This brushless motor seems to have a lower top speed than the OEM brushed motor, but more acceleration.Changing to a 14T pinion and 54t spur gear really wakes this combo up with a 2s lipo.Overall great product, easy to install and runs cooler than the brushed motor

WOW
Cant speak to longevity, but this thing rips! Super easy install and I didnt have to do any linking or programming of the controller. It was a plug and play job. I did splice a traxxas connector to it so it will accept a traxxas 2S Lipo battery. Installed in the 1/18 latrax because my son was burning through the traxxas brushed motors almost every time he took it out, without even driving it hard on a nicad battery. If your sick of changing brushed motors cause of over heat, I highly recommend this setup, and well worth the money! Will buy again!
