Should work for a well trained dog, but zero water proofing
It fits my endeavour trunk fine, but nothing as firm and well fit as shown in the images. The images are a rip-off from American brands. It clips ok but only on one side so the trunk opening side is unclipped and if I need to use it as a car hammock for a 3rd row, it cannot be used. So far my 4 month old Dane has not scratched it or bit on it. I am only now car training him, and today he peed on it . Zero water proofing and it went right through to my carpets. This might be the #1 reason I don't recommend this product.
