do these fit comfortably inside your shoes?

Yes, for me. I have 14EE feet, wear big shoes, these conform magnificently to my ankles. I wore them 18 hours yesterday, mix of driving, walking and standing and only when I took my shoes off at the end did I feel that I had to get these Aircasts off. I love these, worn them about two years and have a spare set if these ever fail. It looks like it will be a long wait to ever use those spares.

I don’t have the instructions so how do you appropriately wear it on a left leg?

The brace will work equally well on either ankle. You'll just need to adjust the strap that goes under your foot if it's not already at the right length. And you can situate the sides however feeds the velcro straps the way you like. It truly doesn't matter. Good luck!

I have a size 14. E with foot. Will this be large enough?

I would not recommend using this one. It put way too much pressure on the ankle and the area under your heel just didn’t fit correctly. I wear a size 10 1/2. So to answer your question, I would say no.
