Excellent versatile stove with support and a wicked flame.
Works great! I replaced an old clunky Coleman propane 1 burner with this Primus stove. The adapter for 1lb coleman tank is totally functional. Boils 40oz of water real quick. The size of the flame took me totally off guard so I recommend lightning the stove with the slightest sound of gas or you'll get a flame exceeding 12 inches. The stove seems durable and I'd like to eventually use the conversion kit to make it auto-gas compatible.

Awsome stove
The best stove I had so far, usable and easy to clean and use. One time the gas output was stuck, and I was able to repair it while camping without tools, which is not trivial for any stove. The heat output is good and strong, but too centered. it comes with some heat deflector, but without it the head might burn the food because it is so strong and centered from narrow head. If it had some twirling flames, it would have been perfect. I never tried it in low pressure altitude, nor in super cold weather, so I cant say anything about that. Overall, great, would buy again similar stove and Primus did premium and well thought job with this stove

good quality & durable little stove --- but if invert gas-canister....
In case of gases, the flame control is fine. However, it is difficult to control the flame when supplied as a liquid. Because the brass parts, this cute stove makes me feel some old-days and happy. ----After a day of use ---- There is no problem when the gas canister is used upright. But when used upside down, the stove begins sputtering sound & flame. This happens even though the generator(pre-heating pipe) is heated enough before inverting the gas-canister.

This is an excellent camping stove, very stable and lightweight for a hose mounted stove, it has a pre-heat coil which means that the gas is pre-heated before leaving the jet. The pre-heat tube makes the stove perform better in cold weather and although the stove is not specifically designed to use inverted gas canisters it is possible to do so on stoves with a pre-heat tube. You can also buy an upgrade kit to allow the stove to be used with white spirit/petrol and kerosene. I have used the stove with white spirit and tried it with kerosene. It works well with both but perhaps slightly better on white spirit. Liquid fuels are better at very low temperatures although it is more difficult to get a simmering flame with liquid fuels on stoves without a regulator at the jet end. The pot support works well and will accept slightly narrower pots than older models, I also have a 2012 version which is still going strong. The stove is very good quality as you would expect from Primus.,

Works great, I love it. I just wish it had an igniter but then it would weight more and cost more.
