How thick is the acrylic? Can it hold 15 lbs?

It is 7/8" thick. I would think it could hold that. However, if you place it on carpet, it is wobbly. I purchased a 1" think piece of clear acrylic to set it on. Worked well. It is a nice table.

How much weight can this hold?
