The running voltage of this charger is not proper for UAE
I bought this one from AMAZON.AE. However the charger is not proper for use in UAE because of the difference of working voltage. This charger works only on ~110 volts. However in UAE, the voltage is about ~220V. The charger i bought was damaged when being plugged into the outlet.

Does what its supposed to do!
This thing does what its supposed to do. I bought it to tend the battery of my '78 Corvette while I stored it for the winter and it did just that. super easy to set up with a "set it and forget it" type of functionality. my battery was flat when I plugged it in and within 24hrs or so it was fully charged and remained charged for months when I was ready to reinstall it into the car. 5-stars!

The only thing standing between me and AAA's speed dial
A 2003 BMW and a Michigan winter is already a bad combination on paper โ old electronics, old battery habits, temperatures that seem personally offended by the concept of a car starting. Add in weeks where the car just sits because who's driving anywhere in a polar vortex, and you've got a recipe for a dead battery and a bad morning. This thing quietly fixed all of that. Hooked it up, left it plugged in through the worst of it, and the car started every single time like it had no idea what season it was. No clicking, no jump-starting in a parking lot at 7am, no calling anyone for a favor. The "maintainer" part is doing the real work here โ it's not just dumping a charge and walking away, it's keeping the battery at a healthy level over long stretches of sitting without overcharging it. Set it and forget it, in the actual literal sense. For less than the price of one tow, it saved me from what would've been several. Every old-car owner in a cold-weather state should just own one of these preemptively instead of learning the hard way.

Not 240v
This charger is perfect for all batteries on vehicles and easy to fit. The only point I would like to make is that on the description it does not mention that it is 120v. I had to buy a voltage dropper which was not an issue apart from the fact that had I been aware I could have ordered that at the same time

Unsuitable for UK market
Product is 120V only, with a US-style mains connector. This has been deliberately mis-sold into the UK market via amazon.co.uk (the clue is in the name!). Stop listing this product in unsuitable markets, otherwise you're unnecessarily increasing your carbon footprint and wasting everybody's time and money.
