If You Give a Mommy a Glass of Wine

The media could not be loaded.  The book was funny and entertaining, although when I opened the cover I also found about half of a whole different book about pandas before this book actually started..?

The book looked like it would be funny, but nope. It could’ve been so much better. The story was dumb. It wasn’t cute like she had a glass of wine it was like she was an alcoholic who didn’t like her children. Waste of money

I ended up sending it back. Was bummed about the storyline. Perfectly relatable I’m sure to many moms, but even though I love my wine and have children, the storyline wasn’t what I expected. Fun and silly gift!

I was disappointed in this book. I’m familiar with “If you Give a Mouse a Cookie” and “If you Give a Mose a Muffin”. I thought the book would follow the framework of these books but found it very negative. I was going to give it to my daughter-in-law as a chuckle but was so disappointed that I returned it.

Bought a few of these books for parents in our family to open after the kids were done with their Christmas gifts and off to bed. Hilarious as they are on point and it made for a fun story time just for the adults!

For someone who grew up reading ‘If you give a pig a pancake’ (and still quote it in my adult life) this is perfect! I’m going to a baby shower where instead of everyone bringing cards, they bring a book! So my mom and I got the oringinal if you give a pig a pancake and this book! Very cute!

I got this a gag gift for my friend's son 1st birthday. It was a big hit with the grandparents. Its a pretty funny book. The only negative feedback I got back was my friend's wife telling me the title should have been "If you give a mommy of a shot of Jack."

This book is hilarious!!! I bought it for my daughter for her baby shower as my book to give instead of a card. lol It reminds me of my life, and it's a very entertaining little story! I'm sure it's going to be my granddaughters favorite book!!!!! Haha! Love this!

Having been a fan of the "If you give...." series since my kids were little, this satire came at just the right moment in my life; my kids are past the age of reading illustrated books and I'm just at the age of needing some humor to get me through the long, teenage days. Issues addressed were highly relatable, accurate and made me take a big step back and laugh at myself ! I've recommended this book to lots of my mom friends!

Read this and didn't even raise a smile. It's just a bit dull and boring.

I bought this for my wife, who is more a listener than reader. But she enjoyed the book, and brings it out when we have friends over. It's a great ice breaker and laugh instigator. For the price, and the effects it had on bringing people together, it was well worth the price.

I'm really not into this book. I thought it would be funnier but it wasn't funny at all, it simply glamourizes alcoholism.

When I bought it I thought it was an actual childrens book. My toddler adores it though, and it gives me a little chuckle :)
