The color is difficult to see. Is it more of a cranberry red-ish? A mauve? A dark pink?

I would say Bare Mineral's Intuition is more of a cranberry shade of red, as opposed to a mauve or pink. It's my new favorite. I've always preferred reds but a red with more blue than orange undertones, which I would call a cranberry red as you suggested. My all time favorite lipstick, has been Bare Mineral's "call the shots", which, sadly, I can no longer find. This shade (Intuition) is the closest to my old favorite. If you are looking for a deeper pink lipstick, I might suggest you try Optimism. It's a very natural looking pink, not too pale or deep. Normally, I don't wear pinks (I never found one that looked good on me), but I believe I might wear this one too. I hope this response helps you. Good luck in your search.
