Knotmonsters: Balloon Animal Edition: 12 Amigurumi Crochet Patterns

This was so much fun! I used it to break up a large afghan project I have been working on. Now I have a cute little add on for a future baby gift.

The book is clear, concise and straightforward in the pattern steps. The visual steps will also provide help with construction of the critters once the steps are completed, and they are in color. I'm looking forward to making the crochet balloon animals.

Following the patterns simple and easy, but the pics to assemble the animals is really bad. I tried several of the patterns and gave up because I could not assemble them. He needs to make videos of him assembling the animals.

I know Michael in person, knowing him and his wife, Sushi, during my pediatric dental residency. He is the smartest, kindest, creative person I have known, for him to create the designs from twisted balloons animals is just amazing! I make twisted balloon animals at my office and to see this in crochet is just fantastic and mind blowing. Buy 2 of his books, you will not regret

Cute patterns, worth it

Was such a let down because so many of the animals didn't really even look like what they were supposed to be!! I'm an experienced crocheter, but I wasn't impressed with the way he wrote out his patterns either.....definitely not a fan of this book a d k kw I will never purchase any of his other books

Well written, easy to follow. Lovely book. I started with the bunny.

Initially I thought that they were going to make a little pieces and then attach them and basically is like folding the actual balloons but this one's are needed so now I'm thinking on other animals that I know how to do them in real balloons, how to crochet them so thank you very very much for this enlightenment.

Made a mini dog for my friend and she loved it. She tied a piece of yarn on to tie around her rear view mirror.

This book doesn’t tell you how much yarn is needed per project.The instructions are also not very good.I like the concept that they’ve done. Just not executed very well
