Amazing.

As someone who genuinely loves exploring different pens and stationery items, I was excited to finally try the Lamy Safari after all the rave reviews and YouTube videos. I went with the Steel Black Fountain Pen expecting a smooth and premium writing experience. Unfortunately, it was a big letdown. The nib feels extremely coarse and rough on paper—it drags rather than glides. I tried to push through and use it at work to get used to it, but it was just too uncomfortable and unproductive. I ended up switching back to my regular ballpoint within minutes. While the build quality and design are decent, the actual writing experience doesn’t live up to the hype.

The len came in a very poor packing and with no convertor but there was one ink cartridge. For the same price my waterman graduate chrome came with a ink cartridge, a convertor and a proper box .

Own many Lamy oens. The safaris I do own are all made of metal. The ordinary plastic is just a tad cheap to me. But this material is toy like. I will stick to the LX versions.

Der Lamy Safari ist ein Klassiker, und das absolut zu Recht. Ich habe ihn mir für die Uni (oder Arbeit) geholt, weil ich einen robusten Füller für tägliche Notizen brauchte. Design & Haptik: Ich habe mich für "umbra" entschieden – ein mattes, tiefes Schwarz/Anthrazit. Es sieht sehr edel aus, ist unempfindlich gegen Fingerabdrücke und wirkt robuster als die glänzenden Varianten. Der Füller ist aus ASA-Kunststoff, extrem leicht und liegt super in der Hand. Das Schreiben: Das Wichtigste ist der ergonomische Griff. Die vorgeformten Griffmulden "zwingen" die Finger in die richtige Haltung, was ich bei langen Texten als extrem angenehm und ermüdungsfrei empfinde. Die M-Feder (Mittel) ist Lamy-typisch perfekt: Sie gleitet weich über das Papier, kratzt nicht und der Tintenfluss ist sofort da und sehr gleichmäßig. Fazit: Der ideale Einstiegs- oder Alltagsfüller. Unzerstörbar, schreibt fantastisch und das Design ist zeitlos. Preis-Leistung ist unschlagbar.
