Clarion Yaks Yak: Animal Word Pairs

This book is adorable, hilarious, and educational. I really like that it tells you what the animal's names mean. The pictures in this book are awesome...I could just stare and stare at them. The book tells you about the animals in a joking yet educational manner. Great for all ages, but I would say that Kindergarten and up would be the best range.

My grandson really likes this book. Illustrations are interesting and colorful, and the text allows children to understand that a word may have more than one meaning.

This book is wonderful. Makes me laugh. Makes my grandkids laugh. I love the fact that it includes the etymologies of the words.

What a fun way to learn about language and how silly English can be. I couldn't even guess what some of the animals would do in this book. A very creative venture.
