The Italian Deli Cookbook: 100 Glorious Recipes Celebrating the Best of Italian Ingredients

Yet another fantastic cookery book by Theo Randall. The Italian Deli Cookbook sits perfectly alongside Pasta and My Simple Italian. However, it is much thicker and is laid out as if you were on a culinary adventure around the best Italian Deli. The cover is lovely - very 'touchy feely' - and the photography is rich and inviting. You want to eat every picture. Theo's enthusiasm shines through the pages, as does his encyclopaedic knowledge of his ingredients. What I personally like about Theo's recipes, there are not 100's of ingredients but they are always super tasty and easy to follow. The book is perfect for any level of ability. There is a huge range of recipes, using ingredients that are easy to source. I highly recommend it!

A great selection of authentic Italian recipes. We enjoyed a superb gastronomic experience on our recent honeymoon and this will help recreate some of those dishes.

Great book and recipes. Only issue is I eat with my eyes and I cook with them too, and only about 50% of the recipes have completed photos of the dishes. Shame but still a great Italian cook book

As an amateur chef this book has given me so many new ideas and flavour combinations to try. It also makes an Italian deli less intimidating knowing what you can do with certain ingredients. The risotto's and pasta dishes are sublime. The book itself is beautifully presented and set out, reading it always makes me hungry!

A nicely presented cookbook, but spoiled by the minuscule size of the typeface used for the recipes. Just too much effort to read, especially when actually trying to cook from it.
