I have used two different ones that ended up with pressure so low that I couldn't get any hight heat going. I have now been using this one for a couple of months and it works great: Gas One 4FT High Pressure Propane 0-20 PSI Adjustable Regulator with 4ft QCC-1 type Hose - CSA Certified - Works With Newer U.S. Propane Tanks I got it from Amazon too. I hope it helps!

I did not buy a new hose. I used a hose off of a Camp Chef stove. It is a universal fitting.

Q: Is it ok to connect these to natural gas inside your home in the kitchen?

I would not recommend that. It would be like bringing a natural gas BBQ grill inside your home. The burners produce open flame with a lot of heat. I'd be worried about ventilation, as well as what you would set the burner on. But you should check with the manufacturer directly.
