BEARPAW Men's Moc II Slipper

Let me say this is a great, fine quality product. The main comments and lower ratings seem to be dominated by people complaining about the fit being too small. I will say that I ordered my standard size 9 1/2 men’s. When they arrived and I tried them on, they were tight across the toes. Almost uncomfortably tight. But having ordered these type slippers before, I knew they would stretch and the fleece pile would crush down to give you a near perfect custom fit that does not slop around on your feet. I admit it was a bit uncomfortable for about 2 days, and then they magically conformed to my feet for a perfect fit. Sometimes it’s worth reading the fine print on the literature in the box. See highlighted comment from mfg. about they are intended to be tight and then stretch to perfect fit. Patience really can pay off.My biggest recommendation is the Seller needs to make this concept abundantly clear in the product description. By doing so, I think they would save a lot of returns!

Ship time was great (Amazon Prime).However, packing was a joke. A gray plastic bag was shoved into my mail slot. No box, no support, nada. This package was crushed, mushed, and stuffed the entire journey. Not happy.Thankfully no tears or rub spots.Moc is quality all the way. Inside trim meets outer material evenly, no seam gaps or puckers. Seems of better quality- close and tight, no pilling, crushing, matting, or ‘fuzzies’ (light strands) coming off.Outside material is even- no pressure marks, no changing of the grain. Color is even and consistent. (IMHO- hue is spot on for what a moc color should be.)Bottom tread material is nice balance for grip and protection without feeling like you have clod hoppers on.Fit- many other reviews say to order up one size. E.g. - 10.5 order an 11. This is what I did. Here is why- the toe box is narrow. My mocs were too tight (even accounting for eventual leather easing) from the base of the great toe (above the ball of the foot) to the base of the little toe. Especially from each side. If your feet are outside (wider) than a medium, I would not recommend purchasing. Sizing up will not help.Very quality moc, would recommend. Minus one star for shipping method and narrowing issue. A man’s foot is widest at the start of the toe box point.

After buying a couple pairs of slippers on his own hubby handed me the wheel and I bought these, he Loves them. Like other reviews the first wear was a big snug but not to the point of pain and the next morning they were perfect. I too went up half a size when purchasing. These look good, don't make his feet sweat and provide the rigid sole needed for rocks or tree roots that we have here and there in the yard (woods) which seem to come out of nowhere when taking the dogs out.Anybody thinking they are pricey think of how my hubby bought Two pairs that were losers and money down the drain before I bought these. I knew to buy Bearpaw because the last pair I bought my husband lasted him 3 years of heavy use, they only come off when leaving the house :)

I like these moccasins. I am happy with the quality. They are well made and comfortable. They are everything I feel a moccasin should be.A few things:-these definitely run small. I am a 10-10.5 depending on the brand so I ordered a 10 and it felt like a 9.5. My toe pushed the tip of the shoe. I sent them back and got an 11. The 11 fits. Once all the fluff packs down they seem only a half size small.-They place the tag right in the middle of your arch. Not sure whose idea that was? It felt awkward on my foot so I had to cut it out.-if you like really fluffy moccasins then these feel great.

These shoes WILL break on you, whether it be the laces or stitching in the shoe itself. The customer service from BEARPAW is abysmal as well, they'll just tell you "it's out of warranty", even though it's 4 days old, or just flat out say they will not help you. Please do not buy BEARPAW products, they do not deserve to have customers with customer service like this.

I've bought three pairs of these slippers now, the first being about two years ago. I loved them, I wore them so much that about a year later they were pretty worn out and I replaced them. I loved that pair as well. So much that I wore them out and had to replace them again just now. This replacement pair is unwearable however. The product has changed, there is significantly less fur padding for the feet, especially in the heel. The right heel at the top is actually essentially devoid of any padding whatsoever, so walking around in them leads my right heel to rub against the leather with every step, and I now have a blister on my heel. Going to need to replace them with something else now, would advise against buying this pair now going forward.

Ordered these before great quality and fit

Imported from the USA in attempt to find the best available but sadly do not live up to the hype. Instead of a nice thick spongy sole that I was expecting they are little different from much cheaper offerings and in fact my pair are badly flawed with a slash of the top side of the sole cut out that can be felt through the fury insole. Very disappointed.

A present for my husband. They are a good quality slipper, he loves them.
