Sea Dog 351750-1 Hose Deck Fill with Splash Guard

I replaced my old gas tank fill with this one. I had a plastic one prior and love that shiny chrome look. Very sturdy material, However you need to double check the dimension of your entry. The width of the unit is 3 1/8 inches and fill entry is 1 3/4 inches wide. It comes with 3 screws #10FH, a rubber gasket, and a chain connecting cap to unit. It is made in Taiwan.

Wasn’t as big as the one I was replacing but after some modifications it worked. Be sure to measure your hole. Very good product and works well

This was a replacement for my 1966 Fiberform. It was exactly the same as the old one and fit on the bow perfectly.

My boat is older than I am... but this chrome gas cap makes it look much better. I had an old plastic version on the boat when I bought it and it had been damaged. Could barely get the gas cap off. This cap makes is super easy to get the cap off with the raised tabs. Ease of use and great looking too. I'm a happy girl :).

Very nice build-quality. It easily threaded into a plastic pipe and let us adapt an auxiliary gas tank for use with our RV's generator, eliminating it from drawing gas from our main tank. The item is totally leak-proof to date, having been put into use for the past three months as we ranged down the states from Detroit to Florida.

Item worked great bolted quickly into the original holes from the old fill neck and the hose clamped on perfect. Not much to say other than buy it. The only con I have with it is the chain that holds the cap you have to be careful to make sure it goes into the fill neck

Fit perfectly to replace original part. Phillips head screws were slightly larger larger than original square bit screws so fit tightly. Don't overtighten screws since rubber gasket expands forced slightly past filler housing. Hen dog

The gas cap was lost off of my 1990 Vanguard Phantom. None of the local dealers had a gas cap with the same thread as the fill plate installed on my boat. The new units also had a shaft that was too long and would touch the gas tank before it could mount flush on the boat. I ordered this unit. It's identical at a 1/2 inch shorter and exactly the same width 3 screw holes lined up perfectly. I could have just used the new cap on the old unit but I changed the whole fill plate as it was brand new and shiny. Very pleased with this product. Well built, it will last a long time.

Good stuff

Used on an older 20 ft Peterborough boat. Was hoping to just use the cap with the spout installed on boat, but sizes were not the same. So install the the whole spout instead, fits the gas line great and looks good. Made in China, but good quality. Definitely recommend it.
