This little machine is good for the price. It is not something that I would get for a beginner sewist. I am a seamstress and this is perfect for a quick hem while I am visiting family in another state. It is louder than my brother machine at home. The stitch will easily pull out if you don't tie it off properly. The instructions are not very clear on threading the machine. The needle does not pull up very high making it difficult to get some material under it and very difficult to sew over seams. So, if you are looking for something easy to use for a beginner, this is not it. I do not suggest any handheld as a beginner. Get a smaller full size for a beginner to get to know how a sewing machine works before getting a small handheld. If you are wanting a small handheld for easy travel to do very simple stitches in thin material, this is perfect! It will add a quick hem to garments, it can make a seam on fabrics, and it can attach material to thin items. It does not perform miracles, but it will get the small jobs done. I added a picture of how it is threaded, and a picture of a hem that it did in a pair of linen pants.

What a joke!! I am stuck with a box full of HAND Sewing items! The Machine does not work as advertised.... I bought this and made a Huge mistake by not opening it up and trying to use it right away. Now I have passed my return window by 2 weeks and there in NO ONE that I can reach out to for a refund. So mad at myself for wasteing $41.00!! The handheld device with not place or hold a stitch correctly. I tried for 30 mins. to make it work properly and it just won't. The needle just goes up and down and that's about it. So, now I'm back to having to stitch by hand and out the 40 clams. That was an expensive lesson I just learned. Again, NO ONE to reach out to!!! Not even Amazon.. and I pay for Prime!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There's a lot of nice accessories in the kit, and the storage box keeps them all together. Problem is, the machine doesn't work. Skips stiches with no rhyme or reason. I double checked how I had the machine threaded using the instructions, and looking at other buyer's videos. Also tried using different tensions. All no go - the picture is the BEST I could get, most attempts were worse than this. Now, in all fairness, this was a "used, in like new condition" machine, so maybe it was returned the first time because it was a lemon. But I'm going to try a different model.

A very good sewing kit; it comes with many useful pieces to have around the house. The machine is practical and easy to use—ideal for quick repairs or for beginners. The case is nice and keeps everything organized. I liked that it includes everything you need without having to buy additional items separately.

I was never taught to hand sew, so when I tried, I naturally failed. So, I bought this. When God created me, he put me in randomize character mode where he gave me little arts and crafts skills and super short legs. Because of this, I have to hem every pair of jeans I buy and pay someone else to do it. I don’t know if y’all have money, but I don’t. So, I bought this and oh my god. It’s easy to use once you figure out how to use it (the instructions are small words with small, unclear pictures) and I hemmed my pants in under ten minutes! It came with a beautiful wooden box, a bunch of thread, buttons, an amazing pair of shears, and all the tools I need to tackle any sewing job! Money well spent!

This is a really nice little kit. The wooden box is glossy and pretty—not cheap looking at all. There are a lot of supplies inside, including a variety of spools of thread, bobbins already loaded with various thread colors, a pin cushion, colored pins, tape measure, seam ripper, spare buttons, safety pins, sewing needles, fabric sheers (found inside the box with the handheld sewing machine). I haven’t operated an actual sewing machine since 6th grade home-ec. I’m vaguely familiar with the concept. All it took was a bit of exploring and tinkering with the handheld machine and it worked fine. The instructions don’t cover how the thread should be set up, so you’ll want to pay extra attention to that before changing to another bobbin. One thing I really appreciate about this machine is that it can be run on 4 AA batteries or simply plugged in.

I love this product! I'm so glad it comes with a complete kit so I don't have to buy anything else. Plus, you can use it with batteries if you're away from home, which makes it perfect for taking with you. It's very easy to use, and this product can really get you out of a jam if you're away from home, for example, if you're camping and your clothes get torn or something needs to be sewn. And for the price, it's totally worth it. I think it fulfills its purpose, it's a good size, and it even comes with instructions

For the amount you pay, their is a lot of stuff. The sewing machine is easy to use.
