RioRand Camping Stove Windscreen 12 Plates Ultralight Folding Camp Stove Windscreen Portable Camping Stove Windshield for Use with Alcohol Stoves and Other Backpacking Stoves Butane Stoves

I was going to make a windscreen for use with my camp stove. When cooking outside it always seemed that wind was making it hard to cook evenly and efficiently. Before I could settle on how to make one, I came across this inexpensive and very compact solution. It works perfectly. Moves to any location easily as winds shifts. Cleans up easily when you get cooking splatter on it. Its light and thin and portable. Use it all the time and it has served me perfectly. The nylon storage pouch it comes in very snug, and it is hard to get it in and out without catching and snagging on it. That isn't a deal breaker by any means. Just a mild secondary annoyance on an otherwise near perfect product.

A great wind guard for small portable gas stove.

Great product

Bit flimsy

I specifically ordered this one, because of its advertised weight of 1.1 lbs, which should have made it heavier and stronger than the many other similar items. However, it only weighs 10.2 oz. as shown in the first picture. As others have mentioned, they are made with protective machine oil which should be washed off before use. A simple bath with Dawn dish soap takes care of that. Overall, I am very pleased with it as it will serve my needs to protect my gas burner from the wind.
