Works Perfect!
It's nice to hear some bass in my Durango for a change. New speakers are no longer available - probably a good thing as their surrounds would also be toast from age. This kit does take some care, but instructions are very good and there are plenty of videos to help. I had 100% success on my front speakers - totally satisfied. Now after ordering another kit to repair the rears, all is good. Highly recommended.

Hey la, Hey la, My speaker's back!
Just reinstalled the driver's side speaker on my 2005 Jeep Liberty (with 6.5" Infinity speakers) and it sounds like new. This kit works as advertised. It does not require cutting the dust cap off the center of the speaker, as shown on the most popular Youtube video, so it's even easier to use than the kit in the video. One word of caution when diagnosing your Jeep sound issues. Mine rumbled from the door speaker, but it also sounded like the driver's side dash speaker was shot. I made the mistake of pulling the dash speaker before doing anything else, only to find that it was fine. Apparently, a bad door speaker shakes, rattles and rolls the dash enough to mislead those of us whose hearing isn't what it used to be. Start with the door speaker if it is clearly rattling.Should you need dash speakers, Power Bass sells a 2.75" pair of tweeters that fit right in, with only a little wire splicing.

Worked and saved a lot of money
Used this kit to repair the speakers on a 2005 Jeep Liberty Limited. Instructions were pretty good, but was a bit nervous about messing it up but I found quite a few online videos that helped with my comfort level. Turned out great and I would not hesitate to do it again. (Getting the door panels off was harder than repairing the speakers)

Worked great for my 2005 Jeep Liberty CRD
Worked very well to repair the front speakers of my 2005 Jeep Liberty CRD. The front Liberty speakers are custom and have amplifiers mounted on them. So replacing these speakers with aftermarket speakers was a problem. You'd have to find a way hang the amplifiers in the door. So speaker repair was the best solution.

Quick and Easy
This foam repair kit fro less than $25 helped me save hundreds of dollars on replacement speakers. After the repair it is like a new set of speakers. Both of our front speakers in our 2004 Liberty were blown. The repair did not take much time at all.

Great fix for the DIY'er
A remarkably easy and inexpensive repair that may potentially save hundreds! Removing and re-installing the door panel was much easier than I expected. The speaker repair itself was a breeze as well. No special tools required, just a screwdriver and an exacto knife! 60-90 minute investment well worth the time!
