U-POL ACID#8 Acid Etch Primer, 13 OZ | Automotive Etching Primer Spray Paint For Bare Metals
For a rattle can primer the U-POL Acid #8 is the way to go. Finer and smoother spray out of the can and a lot more durable than a rust oleum from a box store. Light gray color. It does come at a price but if you are doing a higher end project this is nice for small items.
