Well-made filter that just works!
I hadn't changed the filter in our Meile canister in 4 years and with 2 dogs, it was starting to smell every time we vacuumed. The filter makes all the difference in the world in improving air quality in the house. The filter is well built and although pricey, should last a few years. It is well worth the cost.

It’s raining cat’s & dog’s fur! Time to break out the heavy duty vacuum filter!
It fits! It works! It filters like a son-of-gun! A few days in (the Miele vacuum), the air seems clearer, the apartment is cleaner, and the incessant allergic rhinitis I experience from late spring through autumn has receded! Who would have believed so much could be accomplished with an advanced filter. Further, at this time I don’t see a reduction in suction. I am very pleased.

What's that smell?
Vacuum started to smell like a wet dog when using. Realize I had not replaced the filter in over a year. Replaced with this filter and no more smell!

MUST NEED FOR DOG HOUSEHOLDS
This filter is so helpful in managing that vacuum smell you get once the bag fills up, it's also super easy to install on your vacuum, just take the old filter grille and cloth filter out and fit this one in.

Made for the newer vacuum models
This is for the German made Miele vacuums. I've had mine for a long time and, as such, accessories are difficult to find. While this has many great features, it is not the proper fit for my machine. So, caveat emptor. Be sure this particular accessory fits your machine. If it matches your machine, buy some.

No more smell when vacuuming
This filter is amazing. I didn't have a hepa filter in my canister vacuum for a while. I was just using the filters that came with the bag. But the air coming out of the vacuum started to smell. I am assuming from all the dog hair. I came to Amazon to order a hepa filter again and read on here this is a great option for smell so I gave it a try and it was like magic. No more smell. We have had the filter for a few months and it is still working amazingly.
