Worth it!
I bought this knife in February of 2022. I am a prep cook and Dalstrong came highly recommended. The handle design is stunning, and the blade has withstood the test of time. I find that the blade holds an edge very well and is incredibly durable. The knife is well balanced, and the ergonomic handle makes it fit into your hand comfortably. I am able to do knife work for several hours without discomfort or needing a break to stretch my hands. The only downside to this beautiful design is a weakness in the metal honeycomb pattern. After about 6-8 months of use, I noticed the metal foil on the very end of the handle beginning to lift. I lost the very end honeycomb piece shortly after, and have since lost another piece of the handle. Although I was bummed, the knife is still fully functional and still far more comfortable than any other designs I’ve tried. The other aspects of the knife still far outweigh this small flaw. After using the heck out of this knife for a year and a half, I can conclude that this truly is a solid knife!

Excellent paring knife
Absolutely the sharpest out of the box 3.5 Pairing Knife I've ever owned the workmanship is absolutely excellent the knife is Sharp As a Razor. I've owned several dalstone cutlerys all excellent in their materials used the craftsmanship as well as their designs.

Love this knife!
I just absolutely love this knife for the price. It has a super sharp blade the construction is great. The handle has a nice grip but isn’t rough at all. I’ve literally had other handles rub sores on my hands because my skin is sensitive. It is a bigger knife and I have TINY hands. Like everyone thinks they have small hands until they hold them up to mine. Still, even I have a great grip on this knife. I also may have been slashing around our kitchen like a pudgy samurai in my sweat pants because well it’s just such a beautiful nice blade 🤷🏻♀️ I will definitely slowly replace my old knives slowly with this brand even though it’s not like I have some cheap Walmart set right now. May have added too many onions to the stew I was making for the first run with this knife because chopping vegetables was just fun!!!

Still deciding on this one.
Like my other Dalstrong knife I love the weight and balance. Also when received the sharpness was excellent I would have really liked for this knife to also be the blue handle that I had already received on a chef knife. The only reason I am giving 3 stars on this knife is that I was cutting a peach and barely nicked the pit and I have a glint in the blade on first use. I am trying to find a local professional blade sharpener to see if can be repaired and will rerate if and when I can do that. Was contacted by Dalstrong, they went beyond any customer service I have had before and are replacing my knife. Wow, so very impressed and will be ordering many more items. Great job by Dalstrong

Great looking knife, not practical for daily use
Nice overall design but in practical use it lacks in true comfort and the blade leaves something to be desired as it doesn't give you the cleanest cuts. Great idea and effort, I am sure it will get better over time like most of their knife.

One word to describe…
WOW!! This knife slices super thin with precision and it’s light weight but very sturdy! It’s worth the $$ for the quality this knife delivers.
