An absolutely fantastic keyboard for the money
I have the nicer, hot-swappable RGB K10 model for home, and I wanted something similar for work but without all the bells and whistles. The Gateron Pro Brown switches are smooth and solid without being too loud. Keycaps have are textured but not rough (K10 keycaps are super smooth; I almost prefer this). The white backlight is nice, for dimmer work areas without adding RGB cost, and I never actually move my keyboard around, so unless you actually intend the keyboard to be mobile, the C series (which is wired only; USB-C) is perfectly fine and saves you some $$. Overall, while there are plenty of good mechanical keyboards, including some nicer Keychrons, I'm not sure there's a better choice for a basic, high-quality fullsize.

Only full sized true backlit keyboard from Keychron, good but could be improved.
I first got the V6 full sized keyboard. Great quality keyboard. Only issue was the backlight was not a backlight for keys. Searching for a full sized keyboard with backlit keys, I found the C2. It is definitly lightly and does not feel as high quality as the V6. Nevertheless they key are backlit. The white keys are great, the black keys are dim and barely readable. My suggestion is either fix the issue with the black key caps or if you cant, make them all white so they are readable. Even though the keys are the same as the V6, using them is not quite the same feel. Please make a V6 version with true backlit keys!

Great keyboard!
Easily the best keyboard I've ever owned. Comfortable, reliable, and it gives me all the mechanical keyboard sensations I was hoping for.

Good deal, missing parts
This keyboard is very good quality, my first mechanical keyboard like this, glad that it is a Mac layout, and the color scheme is great with the black/white/orange keys. The Gateron Red switches are very smooth, and if you don't type overly loud, it's pretty quiet. I bought this specifically because it was wired (detachable USB-C cable with a USB-A adapter), so that it frees up one of the USB-C ports on my laptop (2020 M1 Macbook Pro). Biggest complaint on this—the box and the description here on Amazon mention that it comes with a key puller and an extra set of Windows keys for Windows layout. Not sure of others' experience, but mine did not come with a key puller, nor did it include the extra Windows keys. I don't need the Windows keys, but that's basically false advertising. I would have liked to use the key puller, in case I decide to get an different set of keycaps from Keychron later. The actual box for the keyboard is not sealed, and I saw another review where they did receive the key puller but not the extra Windows keys. Perhaps someone at Keychron is pulling parts from boxes and not checking to make sure each package ships with the correct parts?

A competent keyboard with a few minor quirks
A competent keyboard with a few minor quirks. The brown switch keyboard preforms like other brown keys I have used. I use it in the wired windows mode. There are 8 key set for Mac and window, esc along with a key cap puller. It also comes with a cloth braided USB C-Am cable. Quirks: It can only wake from sleep or monitor off with 3/4 of the keys. Not spacebar. The NumLock light remains on in sleep (Bios dependent?, ErP?). The function key labels (F1, F2 ..) are not well lighted due to the led at the top of the switch. I recommend SharpKey app to remap the keys. (not all keys) It uses the windows registry method so no macros or shift-X stuff. I always switch CapLock and Ctrl (due to my Unix days). It has 18 light pattern to choose from but are not described in the manual: These are my names with KP=key press. 0- off, light key with KP; 1- All on, temp off with KP; 2-Moving sine wave; 3-Off, explode outward from KP; 4- off, horizontal explode from KP; 5-off, Vertical wave with KP; 6- all on; 7- slow sec fade in/out; 8- off, ring with KP; 9- Fade in/out wave, 1 sec; 10- Fade In/Out horizontal wave, top to bottom; 11- Fade in/out circular wave; 12- random key light then fade away; 13- fade in/out vertical wave right->left;14- quick key blink (random?) ; 15- traveling wave left->right top-> bottom; 16- diagonal quick wave bottom left to top right; 17- fade in/out sloshing water

Apple themselves really should make a mechanical keyboard but oh well, this one is really great!
I just grew really tired of the Magic keyboards that Apple makes, they are awful! I have a nice brown switch kb for my gaming pc and sought out one for my office computer which happened to be a mac mini. I took a gamble with this Keychron since its so affordable but i am very pleased with the results! It has very high quality build and the key presses are so good! The weight is really good as well, it be moving as you furiously type your spicy fanfics! It connects via USB-C and comes with a braided USB-A to USB-C cable which was nice however for my M4 Mac Mini I had to use a USB-C to USB-C cable. No biggie, it still worked fine. This keyboard as a mode switch to switch between a Mac keyboard to a PC keyboard and comes with the appropriate replacement key caps btw, very nice touch! Overall I'm very happy with this product!

Surprisingly Fast and Comfortable Typing Experience
The Gateron G Pro Browns feel great! While the tactile bump isn’t as pronounced as some other browns (like Cherry MX), I’ve actually been typing noticeably faster on them as a result. The keycaps are high quality, and it works flawlessly on both Mac and Windows. For the price, it’s a fantastic deal.

Great keyboard for the price!
Well constructed, easy to customize config and straightforward connection/setup. Highly recommend! The key sound is not too loud, but the tactile feel of the brown switches is essential. Overall great product

Absolutely excellent feel and quality. Can type extremely quickly on this keyboard with the red switches. 4* only because the black keys on a black background make it impossible to see properly. But very attractive with the backlight and so easy to use. I prefer the non-backlit keyboard that has a key to quickly lock the screen.
